As an Alabama fan i say no they should not be No1 they lost to the No1 team they are clearly No2.
They are the best team beside the No1 team and without a doubt are the only team that if had a second chance could possibly win the next time.

Alabama is approx: 80 miles away from the state line of La, and an 1hr & 45 minutes from my house driving slow, that's not cross country..

They got manhandled by LSU AT HOME AGAIN AT HOME and with OT could not score 7 points.
They won't even play for their conference championship.
They don't play a top 20 schedule.

OK state AT LEAST lost at home. Their SOS is top 5. If they beat OU they will be 7-1 against teams in the top 30 while Bama is 3-1 with a loss at home and remember people who bring up the pt spread didn't Florida lose as a 3 td favorite AT HOME only to play for the NC which was a travesty. SEC is not ELITE this year like it always is and because Bama has beaten up on a bunch of nobodies all year long the media falls in love with them. How can OSU be 2 in almost every computer ranking but be 6th in the polls behind Vtech who plays in the ACC a joke of a conference and Stanford who got obliterated at home by 3 tds and plays the worst SOS out of anyone. we all saw the game these two teams played. it was 9-6. boring as hell. alabama was the home team and choked their ass off. their style is boring as hell to watch. that quarterback, i laugh my ass at him. trent richardson might be the only good player on the team and he isn't even that exciting. lsu only won by 3 so you can't say they are that much better. haha all you roll tide fans can go lick a fat tree at auburn that you poisoned because you aren't playing for the national championship are you? actually you might be, but i don't give a horse's shit. at least lsu absolutely destroys teams, like two weeks ago for example, alabama played miss st and didn't cover, lsu covered. i don't know a fuck about who alabama plays this week, probably no one, but lsu sure as hell covered yesterday. it's lame vs. game. go lsu. i got bored of alabama football last year.
