It was 4th and goal from the 1yd line...who cares??  You have to stretch the ball out because if you dont make it its a turnover anyways....

Bought a point from 4 up to 5?? I am on NW too but do you bet real money on this. I cringe when I see people do this for no reason. Paying an extra 20 cents in juice to get to a number that it would fall on maybe 2% of the time at best

The refs will do little things like call penalties on first down that can really help stop a drive before it starts. They can be picky and choose when they do that and they're making the game go how they want it to. It can be subtle but it's there.

If he extends the football and fumbles...Possibility NW scoops and scores. NW, instead they get the ball on their own goal line and good chance of Pitt having great field position. Turnover on downs is not a turnover.

Guy who just "blew coverage" conveniently on a crucial 3rd down probably just got a bonus $10,000  for that because it led to a touchdown.

Agreed.  100%  That was not holding on that 3rd and 5.  Pitt should have the ball back.  Refs can play their part.  Everyone in on it, on the under.  Crazy to say, I know, but that game is so weird.

Call enough penalties to extend a drive and then call a penalty to stall it, yet all the while chewing up clock and pumping the UNDER.

A punt is a strategic football play in which you are attempting to move your opponent further back from the line of scrimmage via the foot of a punter.

No, because you are choosing to give the ball to the other team instead of going for it on 4th down

If you go for it on fourth down and dont make it, you are "turning" the ball over to them

If you run an offensive play that results in the other team getting the ball the next play its a turnover....

Punting the ball isnt an offensive play

Can you run an offensive play out of a punt formation? Going for it on 4th down does count as a turnover. You can't win this argument. Turnover on downs and a turnover are two separate entities. Plain and simple. You're a moron just because it has "turnover" in front of downs is considered a turnover. It''s not.
