You guys are a bunch of idiots. None of you have ever played football in your life. Coaches price to take care of the ball. He stretches the ball out he has a great chance of fumbling it. Players losing their footing happens all the time. Get a grip bc the game isn't going your way.
It was 4th and goal from the 1yd line...who cares?? You have to stretch the ball out because if you dont make it its a turnover anyways....
So before you call other people idiots....understand football first IDIOT

hey pal I'm on Northwestern +5(bought a point) and I'm just stating what I'm seeing. I played fooseball and that out there was an acting job. Now Northwestern scored and now they have Joe Girardi out there with his little Northwestern hat on. What happens if NW loses and Joe's kids ask, "why didn't Northwestern win daddy?" and he doesn't know what to say. Girardi is in on this game. No way he's letting his Wildcats lose on his soil.
Bought a point from 4 up to 5?? I am on NW too but do you bet real money on this. I cringe when I see people do this for no reason. Paying an extra 20 cents in juice to get to a number that it would fall on maybe 2% of the time at best

The refs will do little things like call penalties on first down that can really help stop a drive before it starts. They can be picky and choose when they do that and they're making the game go how they want it to. It can be subtle but it's there.

I'll run circles around you with football bud. Watch the tape. Hard to extend the ball when you have two guys in front of you. If he extends the football and fumbles...Possibility NW scoops and scores. NW, instead they get the ball on their own goal line and good chance of Pitt having great field position. Turnover on downs is not a turnover.

Yeah, I mean why stretch the ball out and try to score? Its better to give the ball to NW instead
So....A TURNOVER ON DOWNS is not a TURNOVER???
Yeah, you sure would run circles around me with football

Agreed. 100% That was not holding on that 3rd and 5. Pitt should have the ball back. Refs can play their part. Everyone in on it, on the under. Crazy to say, I know, but that game is so weird.
Call enough penalties to extend a drive and then call a penalty to stall it, yet all the while chewing up clock and pumping the UNDER.

A punt is a strategic football play in which you are attempting to move your opponent further back from the line of scrimmage via the foot of a punter.

"God youre a moron".....typing to quickly because Im laughing too hard at your logic
Can you run an offensive play out of a punt formation? Going for it on 4th down does count as a turnover. You can't win this argument. Turnover on downs and a turnover are two separate entities. Plain and simple. You're a moron just because it has "turnover" in front of downs is considered a turnover. It''s not.
