It would be the scandal of all scandals if Mayfield doesnt play due to a mysterious illness...imagine the uproar from Ohio State big wigs...also good luck Mayfield shaking off the stigma as a 1st class pussi for not toughing it out for his teammates...he clearly doesnt need this game, his future is set in gold and will cash a few generational life changing money NFL contracts...so indeed why risk an injury here against one of the best Ds in the nation...one fluke sack and hes another Aaron Rodgers with a broken collarbone...however all his teammates who will never play pro, this game could eventually be the peak of their lives, before they all go their own ways in life.
And lets not even mention all the people who have already bet on Okla...they might as well donate money to charity if he doesnt play...thats a bad beat right there...only further proof as to why you should never invest your gambling dollars that far in advance from a game...one key injury in practice like Dashaun Watson, or the sniffles here with Baker can end up in disaster for your future wager.
