LSU have the top high school players.  Rams and Indy have the top college players.

NFL also have grown men that weigh more, hit harder, and use better technique and strategy.  Basically the top of the top college players graduate to the NFL and rebuild themselves into bigger and stronger athletes.

Just like there is no high school team that can beat LSU, there is no Pro team that will lose to LSU.

I completely agree with everyone, but a better question would be how many college teams (picking the best players from the teams) would it take for them to compete?  I would say at least 4 (Bama, LSU, Stanford, and Oregon/Oklahoma State). Yes, I think the NFL team would still win, but it'd sure (obviously) be a lot closer.

Here is a very simple way to look at it.

On Lsu, there is maybe 10 guys who will make an NFL roster in the future.

On the Colts and Rams, they have 53 NFL quality players on their team.

Final score would be like 69-7 for the NFL

If LSU can't even score against Alabama's college defense, they sure as hell wouldn't socre on a professional defense.

Several years ago i read an article about this exact same topic since it gets brought up every year. They asked a linesmaker what his opinion was on setting a line on a game like this and he said any nfl team would open as favorites in the mid 20's over any college team any year. It would be a cool game to watch at least 1 time in my opinion

for many years the NFL champion team would play a college senoirs  all star team. they played in chicago until 1976. the college team won 9 times and tied twice the last game was played in 1976 when the steelers manhandled the senoirs in a game that was called early becuase of horrible weather

COLTS WOULD WIN BY 68 -3 MAYBE

YOU CANT EVEN TRY TO COMPARE THIS.

LOOK AT MAJOR LEAGUE BASEBALL,SAME STORY THERE TOO

How would LSU do against a college all star team? Take the best players off every other team in college and let them play together for like 5 years. An NFL team is even better than that.

   I disagree dovjak, I think the only sport where the amateurs have a chance against pros is baseball. All the college team would need is a stud starting pitcher to beat a major league team. College teams beat major league teams in spring training quite often. Granted, most guys on the major league teams are career backups and minor leaguers, but of course it could happen.

LSU would not score. Imagine the motivation for a pro team. Do you think that they would even let a college offense get a sniff? Either pro team could name the score. 50,60,70.......whatever they wanted to get.
