I was analyzing Ohio State's overall body of work this season and noticed that they had a cupcake schedule. I mean, look at this shit...
1. 8 out of Ohio State's 12 games were at home. 2. None of the teams Ohio State beat ended the season with a top 25 ranking. Actually, the only team that ended the season ranked top 25 was Wisconsin, who they lost to by 13. 3. Their out of conference schedule was against 2 MAC teams, a Conference USA team, and an over rated Miami squad 4. In conference, they beat up on the bottom feeders and had narrow wins against the good ones
Marshall (5-7): Conference USA team
Miami (7-6): Canes were ranked #12 at the time but ended up not even being ranked. Randy Shannon got fired!
Ohio's Record: a 8-5 MAC team who got smacked in their bowl
Eastern Michigan: a 2-10 MAC team! I repeat. a 2-10 MAC team!
@Illinois (7-6): This was a four point game with less than 5 minutes left in the fourth quarter
Indiana (5-7): Bottom feeder of BIG 10. 1-7 in conference
@Wisky: Best team Ohio State played all season & lost by 13
Purdue: (4-8) Bottom feeder of Big 10. 2-6 in conference
@Minnesota: (3-9) Bottom feeder of Big 10. 2-6 in conference
Penn State: (7-6) One of the weakest Penn State squads in the past decade
@Iowa(8-5): Most impressive win all season. By a field goal.
Michigan (7-5): Just got smacked by an SEC team by 30+. Rich Rod just got fired.
Now compare this schedule to Arkansas'. Arkansas only two losses were to Alabama, last years national champions and Auburn, who is favored in this years national championship game.
I honestly hate betting on public dogs but the linesmakers got this one completely wrong! I smell value soooo...
I'm taking Arkansas plus the points for 1k
