This is one of the main reasons why this site will never reach its full potential.  You post a play, and not only do people doubt you but they start hating on you.  It's a shame and pointless.

Those were my exact thoughts. I read this thread earlier today and all throughout the 4th quarter i kept thinkn back to the "+2000 guy on covers" and i had to come back and say fuckin awesome hit dude, good for you!

But the thing i dont get is why would other people come in and automatically call this dude an idiot or a joke hours before the game even started? Its pretty hard to be wrong about a bet before the game starts! He's a joke because he made a pick of his own and then bet on it? How hard is it to believe that somebody bet a dime on somethn? Why waste your time opening a thread just to call someone a name or tell them how stupid they are for betting on a game that the outcome is still to be determined? Stop doing this covers people, it just ruins a thread and lowers the quality of the whole site altogether. Its not like anybody here prefers that you do it. Its pointless and makes everyone hate you.

wouldnt it be a lil tough to call it hours before and then go find someone afterward that had the exact same bets for the exact same amount all so they could put it on covers?

pointspread winner is one thing, but outright upset winner is terrific.  I've seen upset like Standford over USC as 19 point dogs few years back and UNLV as 20 point dogs over Hawaii and Vikings as 14 point dogs over Eagles last year but never saw this coming in my heart of hearts.   GREAT JOB!!!!
