My initial feeling is that this game will go over simply for the fact that GT's defence is not the greatest so Iowa should get some scores. Also, Gt's triple option should lead to some big plays.

IOWA sucks. Trust me on this guys. I know a lot about the BIG-10 and these guys suck. Can't do shit on offense. And their defense is overrated. I know they are ranked top 10 or whatever but that's because they play in the BIG-10. Trust me guys, they will have no answer for Jonathan Dwyer, and that POS QB Stanzi will throw at least 2 picks. GT Defense is questionable, but they show up tomorrow. GT has the better offense and better coach. And that's what wins games.

I think i would rather just lay the chalk and stay away from the totals, Iowa has a good D and not alot of scoring threats but will prob get on the board but not as many times as GT, and i think any good triple option team is very tough and hard to handle. My pick is GA Tech -5.5 and no play on the totals. I can see an under as easily as i can an over.

think back to last year when gtech played lsu. i'm on iowa.
Tech is not even close to the same team offensively. Not even close. Josh Nesbitt is so much better at running the option now. Totally different team. Good luck.

just stay put within your D assignments, dont over pursue, and shed blocks. If your fast, like Iowa is on D, its not that hard to contain. If more ACC teams would have studied the Mia GT game game tapes, GT would not even be playing tommorow.

I agree. Just ask Houston and Missouri. I guess they didn't watch the Miami tape either. One team stopped Georgia Tech all season long. One. That makes them easy to stop? Someone should hire you as a defensive coordinator.

I think you are cracked my friend...Ferentz always has his boys ready to play (see recent success in bowl games against vaunted SEC teams) 4) Iowa offense - qb is back, and he is a baller - they do enough to win..they are not a big play team, so if this gets to be a shootout, then ga tech wins easily, but I dont think that will happen 5) big 10 - always kicked and stomped on by media/posters, etc...they have been very profitable for me this bowl season and I expect that to continue tomorrow night.
I loved penn state, I loved Ohio state, I loved northwestern, and I love Iowa tomorrow. I think the ga tech offense is gimmicky...if the iowa d line takes away the dive, and if the lb's and safeties play assignment football (ie man on qb, man on pitch man), they will be fine. Ga tech rarely passes (they make my husker teams of the 80's look like the COLTS for gods sake), and nezbitt is just awful if he has to try and win the game with his arm. Let me ask you this..if you are down a couple points late in this game, and needed a drive to score to win and cover, which qb would you feel better with????

ricky stanzi hasn't played since the first week of november, and the last two games he played he threw six interceptions. five of them in a win on halloween at home against indiana.
