I know some bettors refuse to do teasers but I had this idea that the best teaser to do would be a 9 or 10 point teaser(depending on the book) on favorites with 9 or 10 point spreads.
I was wondering if anyone had data on how often underdogs in college with 9 or 10 point spreads win outright thus destorying the teaser.
I am going to make a small play on the teaser this weekend and see if I may be on to something.
"9 Point Teaser" Ohio State 9 to Pickem California 10 to -1 LSU 10 to -1
Good Luck and I would love some feedback even if its saying this is crap.

The teaser did well in week two, I am looking at what week three has to offer for possible teases and need your help. Not many lines at 9 or 10 I like besides FSU so I had to go looking elsewhere.
Sure thing:
Florida State -9.5 to -.5( Nice bounce back game at home for FSU)
Leans:
USC-13 to -4(USC has been bad but not Minnesota bad)
Wisconsin -14 to -5(Not in love with the -5, but Wisconsin is a tough place to play)
Florida -13.5 to -4.5(Tennesee does not look good)
LSU-8 to +1( LSU has won the last 10 meetings+Homefield)
OLE Miss-12 to -3( vandy is the worst team in the SEC possibly)
Bama -24 to -15( Dont like the -15, would need -14 which I probably cant get)
WVU -10 to -1( Struggled against marshall but it may be the spark they need
Any feedback would be great

best teaser strategy is to tease bets you already like....to get a BETTER number.... * just teasing teams ......TO WIN...."no way they lose here!".......is usually a really bad idea
** teasers in CFB usually always a bad idea....(because of high scoring games and wide variance in scores).... NFL can be great if you know what you're doing
* if you do tease in CFB ....make sure the team plays good D....and if they do lose...they tend to not lose by much
The impediment to action advances action - what stands in the way becomes the way.

Think of it this way. You not only have to go 3-0 to win your first bet but you have to go 3-0 on your next one as well to make any money. You can go 3-0 and win one week. if you go 2-1 next time then you are right back where you started. There is no advantage in playing teasers. Books offer them for a reason. Especially college where you have higher totals and 9 points doesnt mean nearly as much as 9 pts in the NFL. Covers has every line and final score for the last 4 years so you can backtrack and see how you would have done. Just click on scores then click on the calendar.
