I see a similar outcome tomorrow…..Texas hops out early, and halftime adjustments lean Ohio st.

This was my projections a while back to LonghornHoser and not much has changed for me. GL today
“Sounds like you’re capping with Homer emotions again…. Any real tangible stats or reasons?
QB edge clearly OSU
Coaching clearly OSU
WR’s clearly OSU.
RB’s even
Trenches even
DB’s OSU
LB’s even
DL Tex
Spec teams OSU
KICKER OSU
This is WAY too big a stage for the BIG 12 champ Longhorns (not the SEC champ, clearly UGA was) who edged out ASU. Even with the home field advantage (allegedly). Ohio state travels like no other, you will see that.
There are two major disadvantages and weaknesses for the Longhorns and that is Ewers (stinks) and slimy Sarkisian (average coach).
The absolute best player on the offensive side of the ball is Jeremiah, and again he will make a major difference with Egbuka.
BY THE WAY, I HATE OHIO STATE….and grew up in Texas with Royal, Fred Akers and the legends.
But where we are different is…I NEVER bet with my heart, and well, you always do.

I went ahead and proceeded to add to and make a full unit play:
Texas TT under 23
special teams return or turnovers would be the only way Horns reach 24 I believe.

Feeling really good about my Horns under 23 banger Long way to go obviously…
BUT as expected…Ewers again looks like a deer in headlights…absolutely little to zero running for big gains…and they should be mixing this up somehow… And Sark “great play calling” stinks
under, under, under, and under

JJ, looking prophetic!
So what about the 2h?

well…. Adjustments, coaching, and QB. should prevail and cover that 6… I just don’t see Texas having the perfect 2nd half to win this outright. Ewers wasn’t handling the pressure as well as I thought he would
enjoy the 2nd half Fubah!

Longhorn TT worked out as expected…as I’ve stated over and over. The coaching>QB connection is a big factor when the games hit this intensity. Sark>Ewers were having trouble numerous times this season and ESPECIALLY that meltdown second half to Arizona State In my eyes, Horns backers were wishing, Buckeye backers knew with confidence…and it showed.
I certainly think this next one with ND should fall under 14
*** things change this week, OSU will be overconfident, ND will be focused, as a 10 pt underdog in a National Title Game. I haven’t placed a wager yet, but I also believe ND has a coaching/intangibles edge not reflected in this 10pt line. Injuries are key of course. ND OL size I think might be underrated.. I do have a bit of confidence Egbuka, Tate, and Jeremiah will find it much tougher with this Irish secondary, which is 100% legitimate. It’s REALLY tough to fade these Buckeyes at this point. I’m still deciding, lean Over.

Ye olde 1st quarter sweat . Coin flip plays a part here, I’ll grab ND with that +3…. If Irish somehow hit a TD first drive we sitting pretty 10-0. Fast starts are not the Ohio State M O .
First quarter ND +3 full unit -110
Best of Luck, my plan is a 2nd have runaway by OSU…I’ll grab a live wager, 5 min left, or 5 minutes into the game.
perhaps second half….. Ohio state will dominate this at times, but especially last 20 minutes. Chasing those athletes all over the field will take its toll on the Irish defense. These kids in this playoff scenario, have got to be exhausted from their social media accounts and the tension these Coaches, family and friends all bring, travel, injuries.
let’s take the value with Irish first 15

wrap it up with a winner
ND first quarter…never a doubt ;)
