...Just suffered a NASTY fall after scoring a TD against Oregon State.

Hurdled a player, went WAY airborne, and landed really hard on his back. 

I think I remember reading that he's playing in this game despite suffering a concussion earlier this week as well.

kind of shocked he suffered a serious concussion there. That was pretty weak IMO.

But he's done for a few weeks, maybe the year.

I don't have the game on TV is he definitely out for the game??

THat was a flat out sick hurdle, then it just became a sickening scene, really hope he's ok

Without the week's prior concussion, the nasty fall probably knocks the wind out of him and takes him out for the rest of the game.

WITH the week's prior concussion...who knows.

Best looked bad the SECOND he landed though- helmet came off, and his arms & legs were stretched straight out as if he had rigor mortis.

Really nasty hit and fall. Looked like his whole body just went numb..Hope is is alright..

The game's been delayed the past 10 minutes or so because they're stabilizing him & getting ready to cart him out. 

He's definitely out for the game.

He's definitely done. He's head whipped back pretty violently after hitting the ground.

hes done for the season, he probably broke his neck. that was a hard fall.

I think its really bad... They said he was getting oxygen. His family down on the field too.

He needs our prayers.  Makes me sick to my stomach to see a freakish injury play to such an explosive player.

I have Cal here but if he sustained a injury as severe as you guys are saying, money doesn't really factor in right now.

i still think its odd he's knocked out. I dont even think it was that bad. He definitely didnt land on his head. It has to do with his neck. Last game for him in college.

took him off on stretcher with a blanket over him... running him off the field.

Looked like his eyes were closed.

I have a feeling it's pretty serious.

I'm on the OSU ML, and I wholeheartedly agree with you.

That play should've been making Sportscenter's Top 10 tonight...instead, I don't even want to speculate on the outcome.

They already had him "bagged" so they could breath "for" him.....and if you guys noticed, as soon as they got to the ramp, they began running the stretcher up the ramp........Prayers go out to him and his family

i dont think he's that much of a factor in this game. Vereen is a good back. Best is overrated, sorry.
