 Most of the people talking trash in this thread arent old enough or care enough about what this means for college football. Ok, children were hurt, but not by Joe PA, Is a coach whos job is to recruit supposed to be a in the forefront of a scandal, when his job is to recruit and prepare his team for winning football games? In my opinion no, when it was reported, Paterno reported it, he was'nt thinking about the black eye of the school, or that he might not get the recruits due to program investigations. As for saying he should have done more, that is not a statement of guilt, its a statement of looking back at the situation and resolve. Did the priests who knew what was going on in the catholic church who said nothing get treated this bad?
