Whoever wins in the Bama and LSU game is a shoe in. I would not doubt if the loser of that game has a better shot than OU given that either Bama or LSU is going to lose to a top five team where OU lost at home to scrubs.
They won't allow a rematch especially if LSU wins

KANSAS ST lay down getting f**ked. I'd be surprise if they ranked next wk with this PITiFUL effort. You let 2 calls take the wind outta of your sails.
You said it... they flat gave up today! A complete lay down in the second half. Pathetic. OU is a better team I think everyone would agree with that but to lay down during homecoming is plain pathetic.

I don't know. From you comment... "They won't allow a rematch" you must believe that there are other forces at work here. If that is the case you have to keep in mind how many Bama and LSU fans there are. We shall see but I don't think "they" has anything to do with it.

Classic case of a team living on borrowed time (K State) finally not catching all the breaks. This was a perfect spot for the Sooners, and I think far too many people overreacted to the loss last week to Tech. K State is a solid team, that should go to a decent bowl game and Snyder has done a helluva job once again, but they are not top 10 good.

By "they" I mean the voters OBVIOUSLY. See Ohio St-Michigan 2006. Look I'm not disagreeing Bama and LSU are the best teams, but the winner would have already proven to be the better and they (THE VOTERS) will give another team a shot.
If Bama wins a close one at home then I could possibly see a rematch with the argument that homefield was the difference. But if LSU wins (however close it is) forget about a rematch.
