Like I said, this is a young system I'm trying to develope. Utep lost by 25 or so at Buffalo, so it is hard to imagine them only losing by 26 to Texas, but I'm gonna follow it without considering my own opinions on games.

I like the Cuse alot here. Good chance for them to pick up a win. If I had to take a shot on the Miami/Michigan game, I'd go lightly on Michigan. Maybe a little look ahead to ND.
Good Luck.

Huck, this program will be called "roll eater 8000" until I post a profit.
Tejas/Soul, you two fellas must have trouble with reading comprehension. I did not compare Texas and Buffalo at all. Please read carefully before you come in swingin.

Actually, they might even lose by 50...
I'll be at the game Saturday night and I can tell you this...this is UTEP's biggest home game ever, AND, in all actuality with the craze to get tickets to this thing, it is the biggest event EVER in the history of El Paso, bigger than any other football game, basketball game, concert, etc...even bigger than when the Cowboys played a pre-season game at the Sun Bowl about 10 years ago or so.
UTEP hosted Texas Tech a couple years ago and if I remember correctly they were something like 17 point underdogs...with the adrenaline of the home crowd they were in it to the very end and lost by 3. I'm not saying that's gonna happen here, I want to take Texas myself. This Texas team is better than that Texas Tech team and this UTEP team is not near as good as THAT UTEP team from a couple seasons ago, BUT...it all points to Texas, everybody and their grandma is calling Texas BIG in this thing, and, us gamblers have seen this far too many times before. Maybe UTEP really is the play here getting nearly 4 TD's at home behind the most raucous crowd the Sun Bowl will probably EVER see.
Food for thought fellas...

Yes, because an uninformed slob like you knows WAAAAAAY more than the people who set the odds, whatever.

Your right about Texas Longhorn alumni in attendance...however, that will probably equate to I'm guessing 5,000-8,000 Longhorn fans in attendance compared to 44,000-47,000 UTEP Miner fans in attendance. Austin is not right down the street from El Paso, it's 600 miles away. The large majority of tickets to this thing went to season ticket holders and UTEP students. Students had a 10,000 ticket allotment, Texas received I believe 3,000 ticket allotment, and season ticket holders gobbled up approximately 38,000...when tickets went on sale to the public there were less than 1,000 tickets left. There will be Longhorn fans in attendance, but, they will be a MAJOR minority in the stadium Saturday night.
