Anyone else think this movement is strange? I cant see AZ losing this game and I jumped on it when it opened at -1 thinking it would go up to -3 by game time. It is now at +2 for AZ. I know grigsby could be out but I really have a hard time seeing how CAL wins this game. Any insight would be appreciated.
Thanks!

I am right there with you. I am puzzled as well when I saw the line change this morning. I jumped on this game as soon as I saw it. Cal isn't a very good team with Jahvid, and without him I honestly don't know how they can score. Arizona is an offensive powerhouse with some solid wins this season, and I don't think Cal has much of a chance. Maybe the oddmakers know something I don't,we shall see. Until then I'm chalking this up as a huge play for the week.

me too, i went large at AZ -1. I follow the Pac very closely and UA seems to be a very underated team. I also think CAL has been overrated all season. I want to add on at +2 but share your concern that the oddsmakers know something I dont.

Vereen is no slouch. Cal is 31-6 s/up at home, and are 19-12 ATS off a loss during the Tedford era. Nice revenge spot for Cal after Az waxed them last year. Az may let down knowing Best is out, and they do host Oregon next week.
Cal always is an up and down team, this seems like the perfect week for them to be "up". Just when no one expects it.

Good points. However, I think the real mismatch is AZ offense vs CAL defense. I dont see how CAL stops the Zona offense. They have a very poor pass rush and AZ has a great quick passing offense. I dont see them getting much pressure on Foles, and the back up RB's for AZ are very good as well. Foles will sit back and pick them apart all day, and they will be able to run off the pass. Will CAL be able to keep up with them?

I am also suprised at the line movement. What really is shocking is that Cal starts out at +115 on the ML, and now Arizona is +115 on the ML. I do not know why the Vegas books left themselves open for a middle like this, unless there simply is not that much action on the game.

what does everyone see happening from now up till gametime? I want to add on but would wait till +3 if it is going to keep going this way. Who will the public jump on when the weekend rolls around? I would guess the ranked team but maybe CAL is a public team at home.

I have seen plenty of teams move from small dogs to small favorites, with the team that was steamed not covering. I understand it causes some concern but go with the match-up and line value over the line movement. The line did not cross a key number yet. If the line hits or crosses 3 then begin to worry.
