You ever seen NDSU play?  They are the reigning back to back non BCS Division champions.  KSU without Klein but always tough at home.  I was hoping for 20 but I am tempted to take the 14.  This conference has been pretty decent in covering double digit spreads on the road against Big-10 or Big-12 competition.  Check out SDSU @ Nebraska, Minnesota &amp; Kansas the last few years.  NDSU is far better.  Just my two cents.

I think the Cats will cover the spread but it could be a close game also. The big problem for ND St is they didn&#x27;t defend the read-option well last year in the 2 games I saw. Kansas St runs this offense VERY well. Waters is an upgrade in the passing game and the offensive line is back and projected to be one of the top in the nation. I think offensively Kansas St controls the line of scrimmage but with an almost entirely new defense they may have trouble early on keeping teams out of the end zone. GL with whichever way you go but I&#x27;ve got the Cats -13.

I really wish people would stop highlighting NDSU&#x27;s wins against Minn and KU. They beat KU 6-3 the same year that K-State beat KU 59-7.

1.  I didn&#x27;t read again.  I talked about Conference wins against bigger conferences and specifically stated SDSU and not NDSU.2.  Both NDSU wins that you note were on the road (won by 13 at Minnesota and by 4 at KU) when they were dogs.  You are not comparing apples to apples.

I might add that NDSU has not lost by more than 3 anywhere against anyone since 2009.  They also only had one loss each of the past two seasons.  My point is that this team has much more to prove than KSU despite being back to back national champions.  They will be up for this game all the more reason to take a dog.  But that is again just my two cents.

Good discussion here.  I&#x27;m going to have to catch a cab to the Hilton (LVH) to get what I want. I have been interested in this game just after the line came out.  I was hoping for low 20&#x27;s or so.  Was interested in the dog 1st half if I could get what I wanted. Well, that didn&#x27;t work out with the opener and early money.  &#xD;&#xA;Now, I&#x27;m interested in watching the 1st half and seeing if Dakota st. can hang with them, so that I can bet KSU second half.  Last year I had S.W. Missou and felt pretty good for about 3 quarters (until the roof fell in).&#xD;&#xA;I live in Frisco, Tx. and have watched the last two championship games. Yes, N.D. St has an impressive defense, but, this isn&#x27;t Sam Houston St. and Yes Dorothy we are in Kansas and the old wizard is in Manhattan in his castle. Good luck playing there.&#xD;&#xA;Anyway, my two cents. Good luck guys with whatever you do with the game.

No choice but to compare...Both Towson and Liberty were big dogs and both coveredWho the hell is Towson???...Not only did they cover they won SU.And lowly Liberty played Kent st tough.Now we have a MVC team playing a big 12 team and only getting 13.5 points.K St is a huge public play....N.D. ND State is a good team, enjoyed watching them last year in the playoffs, but K-State will be too much.  I predict 38-17 K-State. My main reason is that K-State is well aware that if they come out unmotivated, they may get burnt. K-State knows ND state is a pretty good team.

Bill Snyder will not allow his kids to overlook anyone. I&#x27;m not saying NDSU isn&#x27;t any good nor will they be hungry. I just think that Kansas State will be too much for them. Not too long before we will find out. Should be a good game to watch! Wish I was at the game today but I&#x27;m stuck here at work. Of course I will be off for the Lafayette game next wknd...ha!

Haha Allbees... given that half of my high school team went to play for them (of course I am a long way out of high school now) I can say with certainty that a line of 70-80 would not be uncalled for against DSU and the only way KSU doesn&#x27;t cover is they get board, uninterested, run out of time, pull a hammy, etc, etc, etc.

Jesron, &#xD;&#xA;Good to see you back my friend.  You are the only person that could potentially prevent from unloading on South Dakota State tomorrow against Butler. &#xD;&#xA;SDSU laying a big number in 33.5 but expectations are supposedly sky high out there this year, I believe they are ranked #7 in the opening polls, highest ever for SDSU. &#xD;&#xA;Butler I believe plays in the one league (Pioneer Football League) that has NO Scholarship players in the league. All walkons. &#xD;&#xA;Big step up for Butler and I dont think they will be able to compete. Only thing is I heard the heat is ridiculous out there right now and could impact both teams significantly.&#xD;&#xA;Your thoughts?

I like your take on this.  I agree - KSU likely to dominate line of scrimmage as I believe they are returning their entire OL.  Word is Waters&#x27; arm is legit and Snyder&#x27;s teams seem to never underestimate lower level opponents.  Getting Cat at -13.5 right now.  Not certain but will likely be taking it.  GL everyone
