Maryland was a tough beat...6 turnovers, 3 sacks, fumble on the last drive that would have facilitated the cover...against a USF team that lost its starting QB on the first play, yet they still won by 7 and did not cover -12... Maryland's play is consistent with its new conference the Big 10...its sucks...I think Maryland is like Ga Tech, you can't back them or fade them, because you never know what you are going to get...just avoid them...

LONGHORNHOOSIER - WEEK 3 - Scores and SWOT
Florida -18
S At home, at the swamp, Idaho cancellation delayed any figment of complacency; tough mean D will be hungry; will gun for a shut out, probably won't get it, Drinkell passes for 250, Fla runs for 150; UK may be new and improved under stoops on O, but the D is still a year or two away
W E Mich was not a test; will the O be able to hum against a SEC D, even a marginal one? the jury is still out on the O; this will be a test in advance of Bama
O still hungry, sitting just outside the Top 25; a chance to make a statement against a perceived better than normal UK Team
T Complacency; 27 straight wins, 7 straight covers,
Predicted Score
Florida 42 Kentucky 13
Texas A&M -31.5
S QB Hill now a Heisman contender; prolific reloaded offense, dominating O Line; hungry and aggressive D; Rice loss by 31 at N Dame; Rice breaking in new QB and RB
W - secondary still suspect Everett is aggressive and NFL caliber, but the rest are still unproven
O Has a chance to show recruits in Houston and Dallas that they are NC Caliber legit with dominating wins during the next two weeks...sitting at 9 in the polls, want to run it up against weak opponents; these delusional aggies actually have a shot to make the final 4; I think Sumlin will target a half a hundred points on O during the next two weeks while giving up an average of no more than 10...1st D1 game on the newly renovated Kyle Field; the place will be rocking and that should motivate the starters and the backups to keep scoring points and playing tough D
T Complacency; only has a SMU Team sans June Jones on deck then Arkansas; motivation
Predicted Score
Texas A&M 56 Rice 10
LSU -31
S Tremendous talent advantage; playing at home; ULM beat a bad Idaho team at home 38 to 31; the QB positions seems to have settled down;
W - QB, still inexperienced at the skill positions on O
O motivation to impress the final 4 selection committee
T complacency; look a head to quasi rival Miss St next week
Predicted Score
LSU 49 ULM 7

S - experience advantages on both sides of the ball; marginally better talent at almost every position; more experienced; viscious D
W - QB play could be an issue; will OU RB Ford continue to churn out yards
O Stoops feud with the SEC; will show that his Sooners don't get dominated by the SEC; OU will dominate a mid tier SEC team; will treat this game like the Texas OU Game; it is a statement game and a chance to show the final voters that OU dominated a SEC team out of conference in addition to winning the competitive Big XII
T Will OU QB continue to play well; are the young OU WR's polished enough to dominate an athletic, well coached, yet inexperienced Tenn D
Predicted Score
Oklahoma 45 Tennessee 14
Arizona State -16
S Kelley leads a prolific passing game; Graham likes to run up the score; CU barely beat a bad UMASS team
W AZ D allowed at least TDs to a bad New Mexico Team missing their top QB
O an opportunity to show the college football world that they have an unstoppable Offense, and bend but don't break D; trying to justify their ranking at #14 in advance of the PAC XII schedule
T - Will the be strong enough to limit Colorado; Colorado will score, I just don't think that it will be near enough.
Predicted Score
Arizona State 63 Colorado 28

GoGo - I like LSU because they are playing their little brother that they have dominated the last two times that they have played. Its a turf thing in Louisiana. I think you a feat a back door cover. LSU comes out and gets up 28 to 0 in the first half, plays the starters hallway through the third, then runs off tackle for the last 1.5 quarters; ULM throws some bombs against freshmen and walk ons. LSU wins 42 -14 and ULM covers...How close am I?
Sure, that could happen...But, I think with a young team, who needs to get serious reps prior to a war with upstart Miss St, they will need to have that O humming, especially the passing game. Sure, this is a tune up versus a patsy, but LSU is indeed a top 10 team, and in the SEC, even if they lose a game to Bama or Texas A&M, they could still back into the SEC C game or the 4 team playoff. I don't think any legit power team can take any game for granted any more (see Alabama against their patsies). I think LSU will want to dominate this game for a lot of reasons...
I will appreciate your perspective...
