I don't think think Texas has a chance with Quinn starting at QB. As a Texas fan (and LSU). I have watched them every game this year. He can thread needles and play extremely well but then a few times a game he will throw up a few prayers and you cannot do that against great teams. I do think Arch Manning is their only hope. With that being said ... I am up a little over $1600 bucks on this bowl season. I just put $1100 on Ohio St -3 -170 to win $647.03. The other $500 plus profit will be bet on parlays tying Ohio St w other teams I like.

Agreed. They were LUCKY and I mean LUCKY to beat Arizona St. Apart from the 2 plays at the beginning of the game and the return TD, they didn't do ANYTHING until th3 4th quarter. Skateboo ran all over them, I can only imagine what Ohio St. is going to do.
I am on Ohio St. BIG in this one.

Ewers is just ok, not a great QB. There's a ton of potential with Manning but I needed to see a bit more from him during the season. Either way they're not gunna win against Ohio St, not with Ewers at QB. And that ASU game, I wasn't surprised they came back. Some of that is on Sark.

Longhorns ML. This is our national championship best two teams left.
You need refs help. Sorry, if Texas is the best team in the SEC, they are in trouble. And I am a Texas fan (one team I love out of about 6-7)
I have watched 6 games of theirs and 5 of Ohio St. You need to watch games in the BIG 10 since Big10 controlled one of your best schools in Tennessee (quite easily) << and Georgia beat you guys by double digits and Buckeyes went even further
That said, I will play a winning margin bet on Texas to win by 1-6 pts just so I can relax and enjoy the game knowing any result will be fine for me since I have Buckeyes everywhere in parlays
Proving is hard. Talk is easy.

As a lifelong Ohio State fan, please know the majority of our fanbase is prepared to watch our team fall apart at any moment. As historically, it happens when you least expect it. Before the game, during.... Until that clock runs out it's "how can we screw this up."
That being said, Ohio State has a bone to pick with Quinn Ewers. Not going to necessarily blame him bc that was a lot of money to sit on our bench.
A lot of people are very salty about what he did. And, wouldn't mind watching Sawyer have his way with him.
I only bet the Over/Under in my teams games. Too superstitious!

OSU is playing with house money and not clutching their pearls like they did against Michigan. I believe that OSU is closer to the 2 loss team than the team that won its last two. Texas can win this game if they run effectively and reduce the number of total possessions, if they have to depend on Ewers it is over. Ewers is still throwing off of his back foot. Texas’ best and OSU’s best is a close call. Don’t be fooled by OSU’s last two house money games, the real OSU is the 2 loss version.

If Ewers is throwing off his back foot and not stepping up around his lineman, it therefore also speaks to the offensive line and his comfort in the pocket. I have analyzed his step/drop and its fluid and in balance but I haven't noticed the feet, so that is a fantastic observation and definitely will need to clean that up going forward.
The Buckeyes lineman won't help much so I don't see a regression on their side and quite the opposite. They are finally close to the big game and its Ewers/Sark (who loves him enough to deny Arch) who have all of the pressure. I totally agree on the run game.....that has to improve to help Ewers and line be effective vs a very big/fast/strong aggro Buckeyes line and LBs

Texas is the best Team in the Big 12…. They edged out ASU. Certainly not the best in the SEC in their first season….UGA proved that.

So you are a fan, a Subway alumni as they say (Notre Dame)…And that qualifies you as an expert on this Texas team how? You lost me with your Manning comment…Manni g is the future, but as the first Georgia game showed, he is not elite, yet. Our best chance to win is with a focused Ewers and an innovative Sarkisian who will hopefully play to win, instead of playing not to lose….Texas D is every bit as good as Ohio States D….I think it is going g to be a defensive and one possession delta game… and yes I am an alumnus of Texas who has been watching UT football as an adult for 35 years…

Asshat! I could give zero fucks if you are alumni of Texas and whatever else. I didn't say I was an expert. I just happened to have left from down there about 35 years ago myself. I later graduated from LSU. A "focused" Quinn would be great.. except we haven't been able to get a "focused" Quinn. I feel like Arch is a better option.
