This shouldn't be Tough We can play stat game all day and talk about whos going to the nfl from both teams.. I See the problem people over think these damn points so much some of the easiest games are right in your face.. LSU Will Dominate I agree it will be close but don't forget It's Not a game that this season LSU hasn't put up over 25 points min.. Tyler Murphy Meets Real competition This Week Folks.. Then The Setting which always plays a factor in tough SEC games one of the top 3 toughest places to play Baton Rouge Florida hasn't won there since tebow days..Also the last time played in Baton Rouge was 2 yrs ago Murphy will throw at least 2 int LSU hasn't played home in about 2 or 3 crowd will be rocking, Florida Struggled With Arkansas Jus Like tex a m, Florida More concerned about beating GA LSU wins by 11 BOL

Have you seen LSU's defense play this year ?? They can't stop shiiiit.. Especially in the run game.. UF will pound the ball and will refuse to turn it over.. LSU will only be able to pass just like every game this season.. UF will tee off on Mett and make this game a mirror image of UGA / UT last week.. Except the score will be more of the 20-17 range.. I still like LSU cause they MUST MUST MUST win this game.. But it will be a freakin .... If I know any Conf... It is the SEC, and Defense wins games that are ugly.. LSU has a 50/50 shot in losing this game!!

I'm thinking the team that runs the ball the best will have a good chance to win the game.

Florida is second in the nation in scoring defense and LSU is sixth in the nation in scoring offense.  Something has to give.......both teams will try/need to establish the run early.

theres no way this game goes 20-17. There will be way more points scored than that. LSUs offense much improved. They should be able to reach 30s.

Florida is giving up 12.2 points per game (2nd nationally) against Toledo, Miami, Fl, Tennessee, Kentucky and Arkansas.

The Gators are solid on defense but to win this game they have to get the rushing game going.  If they can run for 120 to 150 yards, they will be in this game at the end.

I'm a Bama guy so matters not to me who wins.........

on whos UF played tho, they aren't considered Offensive Powerhouses. Miami has a decent O and beat them. KY and TN are garbage, Ga was missing almost there entire O for the TN game. Im callin 7pt game LSU....31-24.

Bringing up the Miami game does no one any favors if you're on the LSU game. Miami has an explosive offense and Florida shut them down minus 1 big play. If anything, that game should scare a LSU backer, bc Florida absolutely dominated that game

UF beat themselves in that game with 5 turnovers. If youre calling LSU offense "not explosive" then your drinking gas. Im saying its coming down to a Def game, believe me im worried, Miami only had like 220yds that game. Like I said in a post somewhere on here, if LSU can make it til half time and keep it close, they are a 2H team. If UF jumps on them early, which can happen, ball game

I see where you're coming from, but I just don't think it has to do with 2nd half teams. Florida had always been a 2nd half team under Muschamp as well. Look at last years game between these 2....Florida won it in the 2nd half. 

Miami's O went to sleep in that game.
They were play calling not to loose instead to win.
 
Miami went deep only once in the game and scored. Never tested them again.

LSU O is a step up form the Canes O for sure.

True the 5 turnovers blew any chance for the Gators to win but the Canes play calling was very conservative..

Gators O has been better since Driskel got hurt and will score against a porous LSU D.

I think this one will be a blowout in death valley and LSU wins by 20+.  Florida hasn't played anyone even close to the Tigers yet, especially in that kind of environment.  Cajuns will be eating some gator this Saturday.  I think LSU would have won against Georgia if Odell Beckham Jr. hadn't muffed that one punt.  They were playing catch-up from that point on.  I've never seen him do that... ever.  won't happen again and he will probably run one back.

I agree with lots being said. Being born and raised in Baton Rouge I know the Tigers pretty well. My 2 cents are John Chavis is getting alot of flack from LSU fans and supporters to very poor defense this year very much so vs the running game. I look for LSU to make a reasonable improvement this weekend in Baton Rouge. I look for them to have alot less blown coverages in the seconday. Also I look for LSU to load the box to slow down the run. This group of young guys will not stop UF running game but I would imagine they will slow the running game down. Look for pressure on Murphy. Driskel is out and I look for them to force turnovers by pressuring Murphy (which is the better QB in my opinion)but at any rate I look for yhethem to rattle him as much as possible. LSU offense on the other hand will be typical for this year which is airing the ball out. OBJ will be the goto guy with Landry not being 100% but look for alot of passes to the TE's in this one. Cam Cameron I can only suppose he will try and catch UF defense with their pants down and I can see Hill and Hilliard having a decent enough running game to get 1st down and 3rd and shorts which LSU has been phenomenal at 3rd down conversion this year. To top it all off this will be a very rowdy crown in Tiger stadium saturday. There are already RVs and tailgating tents set up as we speak. If youve never been there the fans make it VERY hard for opposing QB particularly in clutch situations. I've been known to be wrong before but I cant see LSU losing this one. I know its the square bet but I personally would take them all the way to -13. That is not the fan part of me speaking that is the money making side of me. I have already slammed this one. BOL to all

John Chavis would be hired the next day by a major football program.  I could name you about seven in the SEC who would welcome this guy to there program in a minute.

Put Chavis with Georgia and the Dogs MIGHT have won a national championship last year.

 

 

Workhorse im not saying his job is on the line but I can assure you JC wants to keep the fans happy as he can. He has done excellent for LSU and has a group of very young guys this year. But from his perspective he will be driving them boys hard. To please the fans mind you at home. I would never discredit JC just stating facts that fans are displeased with LSU D this year rightfully so

The LSU defense looks nothing like they use to.  So to say the Florida QB hasn't faced anyone like the Tigers shouldn't really scare Florida backers here.
