Hilarious the strong ...emotional...knee-jerk reactions we see here....."LSU sucks!......HAHA Miles is an idiot!.....Bama the greatest EVER!...... *understand many here are just outta high school...but c'mon man........
As I explained in my game breakdown...
* Bama with same season revenge... *in which Saban/Tide embarrassed > so should find a way to get it done here... * LSU ...with JJ at QB...can really only run....so very tough match-up vs the best RUN D....in the last 20 years or so... * Bama has too many great players...playing in their final game...LSU ?...key guys are mostly youngsters...and will be back...to fight again another day SO.....huge edge Bama *recommendation was Bama and under....
next game....Miles would figure out that JJ is much better in relief.....(he looked VERY uncomfortable in starting role)...
if played 10 times....each would win 5 maybe.... 15?.....maybe Bama wins 8

Not sure the correct amount but didn't espn say Les Miles would have gotten 5.8 million if he won a NCG in his contract clause. A raise that would make him the highest paid coach in college football plus $1.00.
That had to hurt losing that much money, looks like the mad hatter as run his course on lucky days...

you were embarrassed at HOME...in front of Bama faithful......D was great > O had no plan *not sure if you noticed > you were outscored ....
you then won a rematch at a NEUTRAL site...... *crowd edge to LSU sure....game was not in Baton Rouge...................BIG DIFFERENCE...................
WOW....you won a game vs the HAT!.....awesome!

Bama played great- LSU might or might not win at home. It's all irrelavent now.
Lucan- how can you say Miles course has ran out of luck?? A 3-3 record against the best coach in football is not "luck"- There can only be one "best" coach in college football. Saban is that man but Miles is damn good in his own right.
There are plenty more years he will be coaching. More than likely they have the best team or one of the best next year.
Same thing with his contract. He gets the raise if he wins it next year too. Several coaches have the same kind of incentive.

LSU scored 9 points not 3. But anyway.

I had Bama...and unlike most of you 20ish PUSSIES.... I'm here to talk football....and make a little cash
and umm....I don't bring stupid HOMER talk to a wagering forum.....you dip-shits that do run off most decent handicappers....
.....in 2 games (8 quarters of football) > Bama managed ONE TD....vs those worthless Cajuns.....and (most likely)...would not have had that one....had LSU not been in desperation mode....trying to strip the ball
In those 8 quarters...besides the fluke TD ..the mighty Bama O machine.....could only manage 7 FG's ...on 13 attempts ....and shanked the 1 extra point they tried.....that is pretty incredible !
***better get to work on the Michigan game....and give us a little more than Bama has more talent!... hint > looks like an ugly match-up in the trenches for the Wolverines....

LSU offense was obviously negatively effected by the time off. I don't understand why they didn't atleast throw a couple deep passes to keep the DBs honest, they were jumping all over the short routes and helping in the run. Bama seemed to benefit from the time off with their mostly short passing game, but those were designed plays that clearly came together with the extra time.
44 days is ridiculous! With 7 days rest LSU beat Bama on their turf. This is the only situation in all of sports where time off has a major impact on the championship. Some teams benefit tremendously and some suffer. This was a classic case of the polar opposites.

I'm with you on this one bookie.

LSU was off for 37 days... Bama was off 44 days WTF does that have to do with getting ready for a game? both teams know whats at stake. LSU defensively had one gameplan.. Stop Richardson..and they did for the most part.. Offensively they didn't feel they needed to change much, since it worked for them in November, power run and option mix... trouble is Saban had his team ready, and the LSU's ground and option game was non existant....

If the time off didn't matter then why didn't Bama beat LSU the first time around? 21 points is a convincing win, no? Maybe they just didn't try hard the first game
12 minute possession differential in last nights game. LSU D got tired that was the only reason Bama was able to break the late TD run.

Let's play again. Twice wasn't enough. It should be a best of three.
The only good thing that would come out of these two playing a 3rd time is that we could all bet the under. They could set that total at 28 and I would bet the under.
The last thing college football needs is for there to be a third game between these two teams.

Yes LSU scored 9 points in the game, but their offense only accounted for 3 of them.
