Appy St coach comes up to the big boys and inherits a mess. And he has to play a team that went to the CFP last year. Who has revenge from their only meeting.

He's gonna get a rude welcome to the FBS. Notre Dame was 11th in points allowed last year. Louisville 128th. At Appy St they ran the ball more which is probably a good strategy since Jawon Pass for the Cardinals has not proved to be aptly named. But the thing is, ND was 33rd against the run last year. Louisville 127th. Almost all the teams with defenses in the bottom 10 last year have gotten smoked week 1: Oregon St, So Florida, Akron. You can't fix a bad defense in the offseason it seems.

And apparently the coach had to move the Spring Game up to February because he wanted more time to see what he needed to fix.

NDs last game was vs Clemson, the best team, now they get to play what was possibly the worst team. Huge step down. This Louisville team was last in the ACC in points allowed, yards allowed and sacks allowed, and the LEAST points they gave up in their last 5 games was 52.

19 is a friggin bargain, folks.

How can u possibly use Louisville last year stay to justify anything seeing how they blatantly quit playing? Just asking 

While I like it, the injuries possibility scares me. Isn't the -10 first half safer, in case they do get out to a big lead  (expected) then pull guys to prevent injuries before the,meat of the schedule kicks in (potential backdoor cover).  I Think the Irish will try to impress tonight but also need to be wary of injuries (all of Alabama's LB, USC QB) and may want to get guys off the field in 1 piece.
