Mix in a little injury bug for memphis..Starting qb, rb and db wont play tonight. Let set at room temputare for 30 minutes and......Its all ECU by 14 or more. Bank that shit

The defending conference champion Pirates are all-alone atop C-USA East, and have won six of their last eight road games against C-USA East teams. They have held their last two opponents to 53 rushing yards per game, so a key component to an East Carolina win will be their ability to shut down Tigers running back Curtis Steele, who has rushed for 376 yards in the Tigers’ last two contests. This will force Memphis to attack through the air, where ECU is second in the league with 10 interceptions and Tigers quarterbacks have thrown 11 picks, second-most in C-USA.

The field is nice and green.  I don't know what that guy was talking about.  Small play on ECU as they have stronger and more talented players on O and D.  I've seen both of these teams play this year and can honestly say if everyone else has seen both of them in action they would be favoring ECU.  Lets face it both these teams are horrible, to handicap this game you have to look at who is the most horrendous.

As anyone else noticed the alarming rate at which these home underdogs cover on these midweek games.  Homefield advantage is huge on college, and especially when you consider this is the only time these teams will primtetime television.  Memphis did play a good half against Ole Miss this year, so I don't know how they can be so easily dismissed. Ill take memphis with the points for a small play because its cheaper than dinner and a movie on a tuesday night, and will be more entertaining.  I feel like enough of a degenerate for that,  anyone who makes a huge play on this has far bigger problems than me.

i agree go small. but dam, win. and if you want to be on the winning side go with the bulldogs. memphis has truly been horrible except for the stunner against utep. They looked good against UT-Martin too..lmfao ECU will roll tonight. Take the 1h and the game. Go Dogs

scho525--You are absolutely correct.....UTEP won straight up, and UNC SHOULD have covered against Florida State....but...that didnt happen.

I will say....I think Memphis will not cover.  You look at the other games during mid week....nationally televised....HUGE crowds for home team.....Memphis will be lucky to get 12,000 at the game....so I would say home field advantage is not even a topic of discussion.  Also, here is a thread that is posted by a local sports writer.....previously posted by WeatherSharp

I say ECU wins by 9.  Memphis will most likely stay with ECU for the first 3 quarters....but then again...maybe not.

But then again....I dont know....Shit happens....thats why they call it betting.

Also, The line is creeping up....so, I would say that Vegas is seeing more $ come in on ECU....but will probably come back a little before kickoff.

UNC was the favorite in that game actually, don't ever use the word SHOULD when talking about betting.  Like I SHOULD have hit the under in the MNF game, but there were too many big plays, short fields, and Jason Campbell eluded what would have been all but a game ending sack on the final scoring drive.  But you know what, I didn't, and that is that.  Your Bookie will never call you back and say "you should have won that but....so you don't owe me."
