Mike Leachs memory will fuel these kids. Should be some ugly ball as both defenses are better units. Don't see Illinois moving the ball without Brown at RB....and Devito gonna struggle like he has vs most of the better teams they have played this year....
Really don't see how Purdue competes with Brohm gone as coach, O'Connell at QB and Jones/Durham at wr/te....not to mention their best 2 defenders in Trice & Graham. Of course LSU has a few guys out too, but nothing like that....May still play the LSU full game, but figure Purdue will struggle to run the ball, and just can't see Purdues 2nd string QB to 2nd string WR combos consistently moving the chains vs the Tiger D....
There's ZERO chance USC is as fired up Tulane for this game. Williams will play, but his heart can't be in this after missing the playoffs....plus, that hamstring could give at any moment.....and i seriously doubt he will be willing to scramble nearly as much as he did all season. Wr Addison is out, and worse yet, 2 O linemen are sitting out as are several on defense. Give me Pratt and the Green Wave defense to get it done.
