To all posting members here on covers:&#xD;&#xA;Guys, stop with posting picks, and PUT DOWN WHY YOU LIKE THE PICK! Nobody on here knows you from the next guy. Your just the next poster with a clever username posting what you think to be a winner. Instead, how about breakdown why you like the game. That&#x27;s the whole purpose of the forum. Not simply throwing up something like "Tenn -3 this week. Vols roll Gators suck." Great, you provided the forum community with nothing. Actually, for those who did happen to click on your post, they probably want the 30 seconds of their life back that it took to read your lame post.&#xD;&#xA;This forum used to be very useful and informative over the years. Been here less and less as it&#x27;s now just the next guy posting his plays. Sad......

I&#x27;ve wasted 60 seconds reading this twice, and what would you rather have, someone who posts winners, or have a writeup and great stats and analogy that goes 1-10? Seems to me I&#x27;d tail a fellow capper that is hot, but clearly do my homework and look at stats myself. It&#x27;s my money, so I choose how to use it

Reasoning separates the dart throwers who don&#x27;t know how to articulate and merely have high hopes of maybe some weekend being able to show off a brief run from those who aren&#x27;t afraid to support their theories.

Meta- Began posting this past summer. Been on here reading guys like train, razor, double and nos for 4-5 years.

You do have a point, BoiseState, but for the vast majority, write-ups seem to be the exception rather than the rule. There are those who just post picks, but take the time to come back and answer any questions people might have about the picks which I think is the next best thing to a solid write-up.

Just finally decided to make an account. Like others have said, a write-up is only good if the pick is good. Sometimes you don&#x27;t need a long-winded justification for a bet. I&#x27;m not even close to being an expert capper, but sometimes I make good picks based on intuition, line movement, and "reading the public." Was hitting about 63% last year using primarily this strategy. However, if I said this in a write-up, the majority of people would think I was an asshole.

He&#x27;s expressing an opinion dipstick. And we&#x27;re not required or obligated to do anything "for this forum". Any more than anyone is required to provide some logic to a pick. Unless they&#x27;re just throwing darts. If someone goes 9 for 10 with some logic compared to someone who goes 9 for 10 throwing darts.....who will you have more respect for?Get it?

Everyone doesnt do writeups, sometimes on occasion I might write why I like a team but for the most part I dont. If you are looking for writeups, then jus go into the threads that do writeups, plain and simple, to call everyone tools is just crazy.
