Well guys week 1 didn't turn out like I hoped as last Friday my PC died and I couldn't post my Charlotte play. Got a laptop and posted Tulsa on Saturday and they won in OT but didn't cover. 0-1 on posted plays this year -$550. No matter your record guys when you see a ridiculous line you have to pound it and that's what i'm doing. My play tonight is:
WKU +2 for $1,100
A few months back when I posted the goy lines this game was listed as WKU -1.5 which I said then was a joke. And at+2 this game Is a bigger joke. WKU comes off a win last Thursday Night over Vanderbilt 14-12 and for the 1st 35-40 minutes both teams set football back 50 years. La.Tech is coming off a win over Southern on Saturday {Yay}
LY these 2 met in Ruston and WKU trailed at 1 point 10-7 and La.Tech scored 49 of the final 52 points to win 59-10. The Hilltoppers had a season low 10 pts{next closest was 34}297yards of offense, 15 1st downs and only 145 pass yards. La.Tech's qb Cody Sokol performed very well as the qb's for LT went 34-49
However Sokol has now graduated and former Florida qb and boom_boom pinata Jeff Driskel is the man in Ruston this year. Driskel has been known in the past for the big turnover and he takes on a qb in Brandon Doughty who hasn't thrown an interception at home since October of 2013 388 passes in a row at home without an INT
Flipping through the channels the other day i saw Paul Finebaum on College Football Live and he apparently was stunned not only that WKU beat Vandy from the mighty SEC but didn't come in and forfeit the game. Hey PAULLLLLLLLLL i got news this WKU team is good and they have this thing called a quarterback.BTW Paul its okay to actually watch the game. There is more to college football than just the SEC{ESPN will now have me killed}
Tech was much improved LY based off their defense that scored more points off urnovers than any team in the FBS{172 points off 42 turnovers} under Manny Diaz who now is at Miss.State 1st year DC Blake Baker will have his hands full with this WKU offense which brings back a 4500 yard passer and a 1500 yard rusher{Only FBS team to ever do that}
WKU is 6-0 SU since that loss to La.Tech. If this were my sportsbook WKU would be a 4 to 4.5 point fave. They wont hold LT to 12 like Vandy Tech will score but WKU will score a lot more. I like WKU to blow Tech out of the building.
