Rushing O vs Rushing D
Ucla found something last week. They rushed for 211 yds against that stingy Iowa rush D. It wasn’t a couple of long runs either, it was 6-8 yard bull rushes in their face all night.
UCLA plays a Washington rush D ranked 82 in the country and my eyeball test says they are weaker than that. If UCLA can reproduce what they did last week it will give Gerber more passing success as they start stacking the box.
I think UCLA wins tonight as I think they are the better team. Who would have thunk it after that original preseason press conference from their new head coach. Turns out you don’t have to fluently speak the English language to get your boys ready to play.
