First of all I am not a GA tech homer. In fact i don't like ga tech at all. However, I live in atlanta and have made some nice coin this year following Ga tech and the Falcons (who I really dislike by the way)
LSU does not want to be here. they have played here multiple times recently and this is a huge let down for them to be playing in this bowl.
Ga Tech on the other hand is very excited about this bowl. This is very similar to Missour / Northwestern in that one team is very happy to be there and the other is disinterested. I fyou watched the Mizzou game , Mizou had no businees winning that . They were totally outplayed by Northwestern and it was obvious that they did not want to be there.
I see the same thing tonight with LSU. Even if LSU wanted to brign their A game (which they wont), they will not be discplined enough to stop the Triple Option.
Yes they have a big ,fast defense but so did Miami and Georgia and Ga Tech reacked up 800 about yards rusing on them. That is not a typo or hyperbole........800 yards or so . Go back and check the stats if you dont believe me.
The game may be close at halftime but eventually (just like when GA Tech played Gergia ) that Triple Option is going to start gashing the LSU defense and maybe even a long pass play or two when the safeties adn D -Backs start creeping up.
Ride Ga Tech big tonight boys ! I also think the over is a good play as well .
