National Championship Props

I have taken 3 thus far 

Westover over 24.5 receiving yards
Corum over 100.5 rushing yards
McCarthy over 21.5 rushing yards

I’ll be adding more as we get closer to game 

as far as game goes, my heart wants Washington to win because I love their underdog story but credit to Michigan, they are definitely a little better than most of us thought  (besides Michigan fans of course)

i think both of these coaching staffs were better than Sark & Saban in the semifinals

was stunned at the gameplans for both Texas & Bama, won both overs & Texas first half over but really thought it was likely we would see Bama vs either Wash or Texas

credit to the committee for giving us two gems, both games came down to the last play & as fans that’s ideal

this matchup is tough:

we know Michigan can run all day on Washington because most good running teams can 

the Washington 4-2-5 defense is designed not to give up big plays but doesn’t that play into the hands of the Michigan offense?  You know Michigan is just fine with 6 yards per carry & hogging the ball 

as I look at stats, Michigan is the best pass defense in the country but until last week they haven’t faced a QB with a pulse unless you consider that McCord guy good (I don’t), the offensive plan for bama was so terrible that I still don’t know how good the Michigan defense is  

So is Michigan as good as the stats show or is playing Penix just different than anything they have faced ? So many unknowns but I think we can all agree that Penix is the real deal

all these games have gone over & I want to lean that direction

when the playoffs started I personally thought any of the teams in it besides Alabama winning it all would be better for college football, we need way more teams winning titles than just bama or Georgia 

congrats to all Washington & Michigan fans for being here, both teams unbeaten & deserving 

I’m undecided on the side & feel way better with prop bets at the moment

I think Michigan will have over 200+ rushing yards this game, and will help keep Penix off the field. I played a small parlay on Corum over 99.5 yards rushing/TD anytime +120.

Corum 106.5 (pass).. McCarthy 25.5 (played it).. Westover 25.5 (lay -135.. pass)

may end up playing Westover total.. 

on the game, I see Michigan being able to score against Wash (as many other teams have done).

do you think Mich stops Washington's offense??  great pass protection.. great WRs.. very accurate QB.. ?

 Just my thoughts on this game. If Washington coaches watch enough Michigan game footage and come up with a completely different defensive scheme they will win. If it is the same old song and dance Michigan will win. It will really be interesting to see if the point spread comes into play once the final whistle is blown.

So Wahoo, I can't bet individual college props in Az it appears. I'm not real smart, but that what it looks like on Fan Duel. If I could, I would be looking At Penix rushing over whatever the number might be. What I saw against Texas, which I hadn't seen at all year,  was him scrambling twice, and one rpo which he had success on. I feel for one he is healthier than he has been, two, balls to the wall this game, open the playbook. Do you think this would be a good play on him over? Excuse my ignorance, but I believe in college, sacks may go against a quarterbacks rushing total. Am I correct on that? Prop bets aren't a big part of my betting toolbox.

if corum goes over 100.5, it's hard to see how they don't cover IMO

I like McCarthy and penix, for good yardage

I might look at McMillan passing yards... Stud receiver out first 8 games of season. Safety valve, 8-10 yard receiver. But very very dependable

 How do you come up with a novel defensive scheme with under seven days of preparation when you rolled out the same ol' stuff against Texas on four weeks' rest?

This is a question I have no answer for.

 Best odds are at Draft kings, got Corum at 101 1/2 and McCarthy at 22 1/2 , all other sites  are 4-6 yards higher

GL Wahoo.  My instinct was Michigan big time but now I’m starting to wonder.   When everyone and I say EVERYONE is on wash.   I don’t remember the last high profile game where a pretty moderate underdog……has so much backing.   From Joe Public who have a Cinderella team to root to the sharper industry guys who all dig the QB.   

I’m generally confident in what I do.  But sometimes u gotta look in the mirror……why am I the only one sharp or square looking at Michigan?  

GL with your props.   I tend to think if McCarthy and Corum are running like that…..Michigan has a great shot to cover……

I do NOT agree with that assessment.  Where are you seeing EVERYONE is on Washington?  

I'll post later, I do see a high scoring game here and can also see a Harbaugh and Harbaugh as fraternal championship winning coaches in both CFP and NFL, respectively.

 public loves to get burried on the trendy dog in championship games. nd vs bama, mich vs uga, tcu vs uga...im on mich too but i just dont trust them enough as the georgia and bama's to hammer them here...and this is without a doubt the best offense this will be playing so we will see if their defense is legit as some say....but historically this is nothing new for the finals in ncaa. and with this line move today i think that pretty much confirms you arent the only one looking at michigan.
