The media is force feeding us how good a one loss Bama team is so much better then others. Palmer just said "the team no one wants to play"...Why? Bama is very good and could win out, but I still think they lose at least one more and possible two the rest of the way as they are not nearly as good as last year. They have beaten Ole Miss and b;own out Tennessee since losing to South Carolina. I am very interested to see how they do in Baton Rouge on Saturday.

drox im saying if bama wins outright which  i think they do they up go ahead of tcu,boise etc,and no one is going to beat oregon before the title game

whats more plausible oregon winning 3 games the hardest being the civil war or a 1 loss bama team beating LSU on the road; beating Auburn at home then winning the SEC champ game but still having one loss and having 3 undefeated teams ahead of you; BAMA is you; just forget about it ok; geeeeeeeeeez

I'd like to see that game!  The computers do not seem to be giving much love to TCU and Boise.

way it going boise will end up 6-7 in the bcs computers if they lucky

I do not think either one is easy by no means and it would be tough to say which is harder, apple and oranges. It is not going to be easy for either one, but I think Oregon has the "it" factor this year much as Bama did last year, that intangible that cannot necessarily be measured in numbers...

Drox stop right now; the it factor that cant be measured what do you think the freakin bcs is and the computer polls; I already said Oreg is in because they play a crappy schedule and never have to play ONE SINGLE ROAD game that is worth a salt plus they miss the champ game this year; BAMA is the one that wont get it; I have TCU and Oreg and I have TCU winning handily; they actually bring a defense to the table; they dont have to score 50 every game to win; the it factor at least it gave me a good laugh how old are you

What I am talking about has nothing to do with the joke that is the comuters, polls or any of the other garbage used to determine a so called champion. The "it" factor is that something extra tahat teams like Alabama had last year that they knew they had as did everyone else. It is that special something that you see in only the very best teams that puts them over the top. Both Oregon and Auburn have it and it is real. they know it as does their opponents...

would be my dream matchup because I want to see two different styles of play go at it

two great coaches

one coach is a great defensive mind, one is a great offensive mind

 

defense usual prevails in those situations but that Bama defense would have their hands full

 

that would be a great matchup to watch in my opinion

I still dont think Bama makes it through the rest of the year unbeaten....Oregon looks awful good..I thought they might slip up sat against USC, but we saw how that went.  TCU takes care of Utah (easily I think), and IF Auburn slips up, TCU and Oregon for the NC game..I think that would be a good matchup......Auburn/Oregon would be a good matchup too

If Auburn loses at bama and when it's all said and done there are 3 undefeated teams, Oregon, Boise, and TCU, how can 2 of those 3 not be in the national title game?

bc this has been bamas schedule with only one loss

i know some of these teams arent ranked anymore, but that doesnt matter when talking about SoS bc its the ranking at the time of them meeting. if you play 8 ranked teams, 1 loss can be overlooked especially if you have a chance to play the team you lost to and make an example of them.

TCU

24 Oregon State

5 Utah

Boise St.

10 Va Tech

24 Oregon St

23 Nevada

 

sorry but bama should jump both these teams easily if they win. jump on the herbstreet/palmer bandwagon if u want, until a better determining factor besides SoS and quality wins is introduced, it will be what is used to determine what teams are ranked where. for theoretical purposes, lets say the only undefeated teams right now were Oregon, TCU, and boise. if u were to ask me who would go right now, TCU, Boise, or 1 loss bama, it would be TCU and Oregon. But once the end of the season is here and alabama can run the table with 4 top 20 teams left on their slate, then thats impressive enough to me for them to jump TCU and Boise, and no1 should disagree with that

You get to see Saban get outcoached at least 3-4 times a year. This one would be another time.

I wonder if the talent on his team can pull him out of it, like they did against Arkansas.

I still laugh my ass of at how unprepared Sabans teams seem to be in big games.
