You bash Florida at every opportunity. It is quite obvious you have Gator envy. It is easy to bash a team when it is going through a transition period. Where were you when we won 3 NC since 96?

@rcm1201- not sure if you have watched all the razorback games but the defense has became one of the top rates the last three weeks which is what u look for improvement each week. The Bama game was way worse on the score board than it was on the field. 3 td

3td were scored on special teams and defense. The offense on scored twice and once was on a 70yard screen pass. All that stuff counts but without it the game would have looked better. People keep saying the hogs barely beat ole miss and LSU killed them. This is true but ole miss coach wants to beat the hogs worse than any other team so they were way up for that game. For the LSU game ole miss had already given up and didn't even care to show up. Mississippi state was just killed by the hogs and LSU only scored 1td the whole game the other 12pts were field goals. The hogs play LSU very tight each year and this year will be just the same. The hogs just lost a teammate which is a horrible event, but it will pull the team closer and they will play with even more heart. This game will not be a blow out and the hogs will score more than 14pts. The LSU cornerbacks are very good but they don't have enough guys to cover the best group of receivers in cfb. The running game has improved enough to help Tyler Wilson have some play action passes. Lsu's front seven will be able to get to him a couple of times, but he is able to move around the pocket and get rid of the ball on the move. Ark front seven will get to both Jj and jL and cause a few mistakes. The running backs will have at least 100yards and could be the game decision makers. If this game is close at the end LSU wins the game, but if the hogs can score enough to keep LSU passing the ball the hogs win! IMO hogs win by 3 and yes I'm a homer and played for the hogs but I also know when something is not possible. I do believe that Arkansas is the team that gives LSU the most problems and will have them on their heels. Win or lose it will be a great game and all three teams deserve to be in BCS games. RIP #88 let's beat the tigers

Hey, Boom, with you on all four picks so far (except I have that shitty Arkansas +8 GOY line. My conference futures were bad and my GOY lines were shitty as hell, but my team totals were spot on. 4-1 with only injury-riddled Tennessee as a loser and none left to the final week). Clemson might be one of my favorites on the board.
You end up watching that UT/Vandy game Saturday night? I was in row 20 right on the North end zone goal line (where they played the overtime, on the side where the INT was thrown). Game was freaking nuts. Place erupted when Gordon made that play. Good times were had by all. Except the three or four Vandy fans who made the trip.

Love the Arkansas and NW play. Arkansas has made me money all year and I will take them against anyone anywhere +14. Was with you last few weeks on USC. Quite frankly, I started watching them more after I heard you say they were a great value and quickly jumped on them. Unfortunately I did not head your advice on Clemson and got killed.
Keep doing what you do.

Hey Boom. Great week last week again. About the Arkansas/LSU game I would love to get Arkansas at +14 but unfortunately at my 2 books the game is already down to +11.5 & +12. Do you still like them at that number & how many points would you need for at least a 2 unit bet? I kinda wanna see if the spread resurfaces but also run the risk of it getting worse.

I don't disagree. But there isn't a great "program" in any sport, that doesn't have those fans. It goes with the territory. ND still has them, and they've sucked for over a decade. Bama has them. USC. UF. Just part of the game. I don't care if people hate OU, I expect it. I just don't like the facts getting misrepresented.
people hate winners, thats why other people besiedes fans of teams in their own conference hate them, yankees, lakers, patriots, you get the idea, but you wont see many people that hate clemson unless they are gamecock fans, and thats because they are an irrelevant football program that is never a threat to win a championship.

A good bounce back week for going 9 - 3 picking up 13 units. But the thing delighted me the most was the chaos that happened in the BCS. We could have a serious problem here this week and I dont know about you, but I love it. Where are you haters at? I know you reading, I know that for sure because you're obsessed with every move I make. But enough about losers. We need to focus on one of my favorite weeks to bet on and that's thanksgiving weekend. Get ready, its going to be a great week.
Well they definitely aren't as obsessed as you are mocking them. You are like clock work with these intro's every week. Each week you seem to throw the 1st punch, as if you need them. Ever think just maybe, that it's you....Nice week last week. You made some excellent calls...

here we go again... Look. Its not that I have anything against Florida. I just call it as it is. Florida is a horrendous football team this year, would you not agree?

the game ended in controversy as you well know. In reality Tenn should have be made to at least go win the game in their part of the overtime... due to the blown whistle. But, I think we both know the human element of it... Tennessee deserved to win the game simply because the kid made a good play. You guys better take care of Kentucky this week... GL Bud

IMO... anything around 7 is good. I personally think Arkansas has a shot at winning this game.

Great job last week, Boom. You made a lot of people a lot of $$$.
Any thoughts on the Houston (-3)/Tulsa game?
i might consider taking Tulsa if it was anybody else but but Keenum behind Houston's center. As Keenum goes...so go the Cougs. if he's on then Houston wins by double digits. Thoughts?

Transitional team. Is Clemson that much better? I respect your picks and read your site every week, I just think that Florida is in a down year but still has much talent and will bounce back. Good luck this week.

I actually didn't know about the controversy until I turned on the radio afterwards. Nobody in the stadium heard that whistle. Possibly including the ref who blew it. ESPNU turns the crowd noise down, so it's obvious what happened to the TV audience, but I saw another replay on the VolNetwork, and you couldn't hear it there either. Ultimately, justice was served, and it shouldn't have been.
Hoping to make it 27 straight over the 'Cats this weekend. BOL this week, Boom.

Gatorbear- and about Clemson... are they better than Florida? Without question they are. I think the difference between these two very YOUNG teams right now is one or two players. For example, Clemson has Dwayne Allen, Sammy Watkins and Taja Boyd. Florida dont. See what im saying? Football teams nowadays can easily be separated by one or two players. We are in the area of the "Skilled Athlete" ...teams spread you out now and feature there skill guys. College football for the most part is now the " Spread Offense ".... Very few teams line up and play 3yards and a cloud a dust these days.
