As far as leans go...
Also leaning Duke.
Already played Kansas State though...couple reasons...mostly a play against Miami's youth.
Washington has an injury to one of the OL...Rivas broke his forearm. (I assume you know that...just mentioning it...) They may have to reshuffle the line.
Air Force vs inexperienced Mich DL...also thinking that's a good match up. Just waiting for the total, though.

Miami looks the part. Starting the season with back to back road games is tough. 7 points is a lot of points. I dont think Kansas ST will line up with Klien and run it 50 times vs Miami... GL either way

I thought Auburn was very unimpressive. Their DL was supposed to be their strength and they were gashed and their pass rush was uneffective after the first couple of series. If Clemson doesn't drop all those passes they put up an additional 150 through the air. Auburn is in big trouble. I thought Clemson's OL was great after the early pressure. I think IF Miss State comes out and gets physical they will wear Auburn down. State has revenge after last year's tough loss.

Good stuff! And yes Florida sucks!!!

Love your read every week Boom and congrats to your tigers on the big win!  Although i have to disagree on your take that they dominated the whole game.  Early in the game with the fumble by boyd that was called back, that was big.  Auburn was in it until the very end and they put up a damn good fight.  I actually was more impressed with them then I gave them credit for prior to the game, but Frazier has alot of work to do for Auburn to win 7 games this season.  

Hope this week does better than last, I'm a true follower of your picks and reads and have much respect for you.  Keep it up!

Hey I bet OSU and saw the same game you did. Miami WR must have dropped 10 passes early and the Bucks were lucky to be only down 3-0 after one. In fact it was one of the worst quarters Ive ever seen from a Buckeyes team.

A couple of things Mr. Chalk learned after week one.

1. OU looked bad. Cant believe how many talking heads had them in the national championship game. Hell I bet them to get there too. Not going to happen.

2. I thought Georgia didnt look good for all the hype I heard.

3. The Gators still suck.

4. Bama is the national champion and its going to be awful hard for someone to stop that train.

5. Michigan State is still the dirtiest team in college football. Hell even their punter got a late hit flag.

6. Big 10 is bad. Pac 12 has two great teams and the rest is bad. As much as I hate the SEC they are the BIG DOGS.

7. Who was the idiot that hired Ron Zook as an announcer? I thought Michael Jackson had come back from the dead to ad color to that UCLA/Rice game.

8. If your a college football fan you gotta hate what Mike Gundy did on saturday. If your a chalk lover like me you gotta love him. -67.5 no problem I put up 84!

9. Did the New Mexico Lobos really get a blowout win on Saturday? I thought High School football in Texas was better than that. New Mexico goes from playing a HS team to Austin this week. OUCH.

10. Leans for week 2, Okie St, NC, and Neb.

what are your thoughts on this usc/cuse game? coming cross country and laying 4 TDs is a lot for what i cosider to be a somewhat overrated team.

BOOM I can understand how frustrating it is to have haters when you put in so much work to do what you love and make people happy with information you can provide them with. However the worst thing you can do is stoop yourself to their level. You keep doing what your doing and dont let the haters get to you. You are an asset to this forum as most people know this. The haters are just jealous and insecure. 

BTW UTAH -7 LOOKS GOOD. I just dont see why the linesmakers would have this line so low.

Hey Boom, I posted this on your privious thread and don't know if you saw it so I'm back at you. The world is full of morons, idiots and assholes. I notice all these pukes with their bullshit comments never post a card. It's always easier to criticize someone else as they'll never tell you how shitty they did. I don't think much of Michigan, but I think this is a tough spot for the Falcons.  Not sure how they get Michigan off the field.  Not sure what's up with KSU.  That Misouri State team shouldn't be an good, and they hung with the Wildcats.  Just got a feeling KSU rolls, but couldn't really tell you why.  GL.

Boom - love the write up as always.  One man's opinion, but I would be awfully careful on Washington this weekend.  LSU is better than last year and Washington has never seen a place like TIger Stadium on a Saturday night.

Boom Boom,

Confused at the end you said you wouldnt let others ruin things!  So basically you have the right to talk and say anything you feel but will be offended if others say crap on your thread?  Im not attacking you just confused?  No need to explain if you dont want just seeing what your thought are?

By the way SEC looked like shit also!  Besides Bama dominating Michigan I really was not impressed!  Bowling Green was a typical big ten matchup early in the season seems they did the same thing to big ten teams they did to sec teams like Florida.

Furthermore Wisconsin is all hype also.  Danny O brien is not on the same level as Russel Wilson!

Ohio State has lots of potential.

Michigan played the top team in the country.  Be careful about being down on them.  Denard didnt even run in that game he will crush Air Force.  Air Force line weighs about 260 average and Starting center just tore his acl! He Gone

Purdue Purdue Purdue I think this year they stay healthy and cause some big headaches for teams!  Keep an eye on lines they may hold some value!

Game of the week Northwestern versus Vanderbilt!  Lean Vandy

Florida is garbage!

West Virginia is for REAL!
