Watched TCU against Kansas, Boom.
It seemed like they had receivers that were 5-yards open on most every play. Kansas pressed, zoned and couldn't catch up with them in any way.
The problem was, and especially in the first half, they would--despite STILL beating the secondary--dog it, and play almost 2 steps behind themselves. Just couldn't figure it out. Dropped balls, missed routes, no continuous movement.
Even though it looked extremely shady, I don't think these boys are on the take. I looked at the line movement on this game at five different vegas casinos and it was standard college football-style movement. Half point here, half point there. I honestly think these guys are just full of themselves. They walked into Lawerence like they were the shit. Like they could stay out till 5 am and show up drunk and still beat these bums. I assume Gary, who is a HARDCORE start-to-finish, balls out Greg Schiano-esque coach tore them new assholes in films/weekday practice and seared it into their heads that they will not quit until 0's on the clock. I think that's why they ran up the numbers the next week. Making a point. A point that, yes coach, we're listening.
Regardless, I will be watching their spread movement for the next couple of weeks.
