Maybe because the guy has a mind of his own and he isn't a kiss-ass sheep like some people. Bah, bah, I'm your online friend Boom, bah.
Hey Boom, it's cool. Bad weeks happen, but as I said last week, I do think you have a lot of knowledge. Hey, I feel bad for anyone who took up my suggestion to play Utah State -6.5 vs. La Tech since it was my "WAC pick of the week", and sadly I hit the other two WAC games that I picked instead - Fresno State +9.5 @ Nevada (they scored with only 1:06 on the clock for a back door cover) and New Mexico St. +21 @ Hawaii (it was mostly a two-score game the whole way with Hawaii only winning by 11). Why, oh why didn't I give either of the other two? Well I thought about making Fresno State my pick of the week but since I'm an unabashed fan I thought folks would just think I'm a f'ing homer. And yes, for experienced cappers as yourself, you keep callin' 'em as you see 'em, and the good weeks outweigh the bad. I was on different sides of some of your key bets. I didn't think Notre Dame would cover giving that many points to the Condoms mainly because Barkley is a very good quarterback (I'm surprised you never mention him - IMO he is second only to Andrew Luck among college QBs who are not in a no-huddle or spread offense). Also on Michigan State - just feel they're in Wisconsin's heads and I was also impressed at how they bottled up Denard last week. On a bad note, I was just as aghast as you at what is happening to Georgia Tech. They're a wreck all right, but they ain't ramblin' any more. I know you'll have a better week, just hang in there and do what you gotta do. Good luck to you.

Newbie on here, Boom. I've been reading your thread for most of the season and wondered if I might bug you for some perspective...
What's your thoughts on Navy+20? I just don't see Notre Dame rallying anymore this year. I believe Kelly can coach, but I also believe he doesn't have the talent in place yet. Any thoughts would be greatly appreciated.
Keep killing it. BOL!
