Yeah its too bad we just can't be sure about the Rams QB .. carson strong's understudy check .. norvell obvi an attractive QB coach grabs him on the way out check .. THe camp reports sound good and got a butt load of proven WR talent .. check check check ... I'd bet the legacy WR's are also alot better than we saw with Addazio and Ciento there just throwing to the TE every play .. Dante Wright was a few years back a legit gamer really hope they bust him out in this game .. and depth chart looked in order nothing screwy ..
All that said we haven't seen him getting chased by a pack of wolverines yet so idk .. I took it +31 .. fingers xx'd .. Mich O looks really tough again .. obvi QB competition means we're gunna see a few bombs .. Think Cade's the starter maybe switch off .. If not I'd guess whoever faces Hawaii would be the starter throwing 50-50 15 TD's ..If QB competition then for sure get their best game .. maybe late scores?.. also could lead to a screwy game .. if the kid can toss it on point then idk Harbaugh gunna eat his words talkin about QB competitions this one game / that one in that game .. def just opened the door to win this week's Scott Frost Award .. lol ..

Think I'm on most of those plays, couple strong leaning .. didn't quite get to Ville in time .. Cuse had a screwy depth chart right on the d-line which looked screwy already in Steele .. 2 of those starters not on the depth chart for this game .. look at the backup NT .. 5'11, not even in steele .. wth? .. now that is a vector to watch in this game Vill gunna test them out w a few up the gut runs and QB draws coming their way ..
I went under in App .. seeing FAMU scoring on UNC didn't give me much confidence .. although I'd take the FAMU QB over chase brice any day lol .. drake maye got some wheeeelz .. might really need em ..
MD for sure very nearly went bridge play on it wish I did .. TOP GUN TUA gunna have a lotta bogies in the air ..
Grabbin USF in the UDML .. if they can hang w them at +12 then why not hang w them at -12 ... if not then lose by 35 .. we see a hot n sticky 90 degree crampfest dog fight and I'll bet BYU is mayyybe not having their best game next week when them green bears come to town ... Grimes returns to show em who the real rainmaker was .. might be a few sluggish surprises next week ..
Old Dom Dominates .. Wells, 3 picks ..

I'm treading lightly early on........but am playing Washington/Kent st. O59.5
From all reports the Huskies are healthy, looks like Penix will be the qb, & he has lots of returning talent at the skills to work with. I expect them to put some points up but not hold KS to under 3 tds.
GL this season bro....

I've been eye ballin this game, but since its pretty much the last of the weekend games I've pushed it back on the list. Curious why the line is down to 59. Would assume the Wash O is improved and the D will be off a beat replacing people. Kent St isn't a mystery, but their ceiling is. I mean, if they lost 48-31 nobody would bat an eye....same as if they lost 49-0......Will dig a bit more....
Great to see ya Mugg

Yep, the Rams are intriguing. I just can't fathom laying 31 with Michigan in game one with a defense that I assume will regress a bit even though the offense should be very good....

@Train69 best of luck this week! Interested on your thoughts for the big matchup this weekend between ND vs. OSU
I like the U59....hard for me to pick a side as I think the line is fair. Don't think ND will be great on either side of the ball, but steady. OSU should roll on offense, but they have a little turnover at the WR spot and on D....looks like a 34-17 type game to me.... Sorry not more help.

Penn St 9-0 vs Purdue since....early 2000's I believe. Pretty sure 7 of those 9 the total below 55. Last year both teams played 9 league games without playing each other and both had totals below 55pts 7 of 9 games. Both teams the two over 55 was playing offensive powerhouse Ohio St and toothless secondary Michigan State. Neither team could run the ball last year. Penn St O-line with fewer career starts than Purdue O-line, no big upgrade on those O-lines that I see. Both teams with decent secondaries although Purdue has some banged up who will play according to Brohm.
I took the Under 54.5 based on past results and lack of any substanial upgrades on either team. Also lean Penn St., believe they are stronger defensively.
Also, Manny Diaz taking over for Brent Pry my main concern here. Diaz system not complicated, just hope he doesn't Fup the D!!!
Good Luck Train!!!

unrealistically, what are your thoughts on the penn st total? bol this year
Really like this game to be a slug fest. Penn St is underrated I believe, but James Franklin on the road just doesnt get the job done with style. QB Clifford being healthy is good for them, and I think they will have a decent leash on him so he doesnt scramble much and get hurt. Should see him throw the ball away more than normal instead of trying to get out of the pocket. On the other side, I like Jeff Brohm as a coach. He gets his QB O'Connell back, but loses Big 10 WR of the Year David Bell and their best defensive player in Karlaftis. The Purdue back field is solid, but not speedsters, and they have very good TEs, which I think we will see used more for short passes as the Purdue WR situation isnt great due to Bell being gone as well as other academic and injury issues. I dont expect much downfield from Purdue, but they should br able to sustain some drives. Should be a very good game and I think we will see some stalled drives end in FG attempts.
