I like a number of the picks...I saw this one..La Tech/S Bama O60
Do you think this will be a shootout, or will upstart South Alabama dominate on offense, with La Tech trying to catch up and scoring points creating an over scenario? Thanks in advance! GL!

I think La Tech is better than they appear after 2 bad road losses at Mizzou and Clemson. S Bama has been playing very well and shoulda/coulda beat UCLA on the road last week. I think the line of 13.5 is fair, but the total is low. I believe both teams offensive strength is the opposing defenses weakness. La Tech can't run the ball at all, but S Bama can be had in the passing game. On the other side, La Tech can't stop the run (not much better at pass D). S Bama has scored 30+ in every game including vs 2 teams better than La Tech.....and LT put up 24 & 20 in road games vs much better defenses ( Mizzou/Clemson).
I fully expect a track meet with some big plays. Solid chance S Bama puts up 45 and La Tech goes for 30+
But what do I know.

Seriously doubt I will be on USC....first real road game (I dont count the 4 hour drive to Stanford).....at night in Corvallis....with a line begging for So Cal money..... They may win and cover, but I've seen this setup enough to know its no gimme.... Still working on things....
I'm hoping the current +6 that I see posted will go up by Saturday afternoon (was 6.5 yesterday). Regardless, tempted to go small ML and medium +6 even if it doesn't move for me. OSU side or nothing for me.

Good Luck Train - like East Carolina and several others as well - hate to see any of the Armed Forces Academies struggle, but Navy is not good this year. More later??

The new blocking rule is really detrimental to option squads (especially the armed forces who never have decent passers).....
Probably a couple adds, but might be tomorrow waiting for line movement....will have top 3/10 & udmlp up this evening.

I know what you mean about comparing FIU to Austin Peay. I tend to do that when comparing bad teams against the same good team just as a guide, it seems to work for large spreads. Some teams and coaches coast when a games in the bag. WKy coming of a big rd win at Indy. So 30.5 worry’s me not going the other way just not liking -30.5 there. No offense Bud.

They actually lost last week@ Indy, but I get your point. Of course we gotta compare squads, but it gets tricky. 31 is a big line for sure, but I expect WKU to out up 48+, and if FIU can score more than 17 so be.
No offense takin brother, just good ole football talkin.

W Ky beat Indy last I thought. Not talking spread there a big win to the players so possible flat start I’m seeing 48-21 but would not bet on it lol nice talkin with ya.

@TRAIN69 I am thinking of taking a sprinkle on rice did you have any thoughts on this game?
Rice is my lean at +17.5 or better. Houstons defense has been its downfall thus far and Rice should be able to move the ball. Rice QB McMahon has been very solid since finishing the USC game. I believe he'll be just fine vs the Cougar defense. Rice can't run the ball well, but I think that helps the over even more. They lost 66-14 vs USC, but 3 pick 6s made that game look worse than it was (dont get me wrong, they still got spanked), but it could have easily been 48-24.....On the other side, I expect Clayton Tune to be his usual self, which is very good. Dell, his fav target, is questionable....so thats not good news. However, I think the scheme itself is too much for Rice to stop often. Rice should be in this game if they can avoid losing the turnover battle. Got this as a 38-28 type game.....
