Yes the year is almost over! Time flies buddy. Good luck buddy!
What do think about MIzzou +2 @ Vandy.
At first glance this looks like a Mizzou ML, with a sizeable bet.
Any input here?
Vandy has played 2 decent teams (Ole Miss and So Car) and given up 39 and 35 points.....This is the best offense Vandy has seen (debatable of course), but this isnt the best offense Mizzou has faced (I would argue Toledo, Indiana and Ark St are all on Vandys level).....
Then theres the Pinkel factor, which is magnified on the road.....Mizzou with revenge from a much better Vandy squad who walked into Faurot Field last year and won....
No chance I would lay points with Vandy. Mizzou has the talent to win this game by double digits, but that doesnt mean they will....
Still chewing on this one

I kinda like WV. They have the best offense and defense Baylor has seen thus far....by a LONG SHOT. Baylor has played ULM,Buffalo and Wofford....
WV has found their qb in Trickett (hes their 3rd starter and has experience from his FSU days) and have already played Oklahoma, Maryland and Ok St....so theyve seen strong competition....
Just waiting to see what the line does....

I think most people are gonna love Baylor this week.....I just dont think I'm gonna be one of them.
Ohio St is a better team than NW, but that doesnt always get you results in college football. NW plays clean, hard nosed football. They have a good coach and the home crowd will be hyped for a night game (probably the biggest in quite some time for them). However, they needed 2 pick 6s to beat Cal (granted 1st game of season on the road).....I just dont see me betting this either way, unless I take OSU in a teaser.....

Yeah, Pinkel can tarnish the finest cutlery.
It is possible that Vandy is getting a bit more credit than they deserve because of them playing Ole Miss tight. There were many factors that made that game so close....first game of the year, at night on national TV...not to mention Ole Miss' offense was exposed against Alabama (many have been). I guess you could say Vandy hung in vs South Carolina, but the Gamecocks were hungover bad from the Georgia loss....basically, they lost the SEC East, and they knew it.
As the season moves forward we begin to see certain teams wear down, and others start to roll. I expect Vandy to wear down, and are likely to lose the next 4 games, with this Mizzou matchup being the most winnable of the 4. Surprisingly though, Phil Steele's preseason power ratings have Vandy at -10.... I did a double take on that one.
Hopefully Mizzou won't get caught looking ahead to Georgia...this looks like a great spot to bet the Tigres on the ML +110 for some decent bread.
