Hey guys I'm new to posting in the forums. I've checked it out a little, but try and stay away because the picks can be all over the place. I've been on a pretty good run so far, I bet about 15-20 games a week in college/nfl and I'm about 25-30 games over .500.I'm gonna start posting my picks. You guys can tail me, or talk shit. I don't really care.
But the real reason I'm making this post, is because I'm having issues with one of my bookies. I'm looking for advice on what I should do, because I've never really been in this spot before. I won about 2K around 4 weeks ago, and so today was the day he finally paid me off. I didn't really bet that much with him during then because he kept giving me constant excuses, and was paying in increments. Last week, when he gave me the bulk of it, and assured it would never happen again, I started betting again and won 1800. When I called him for an exact figure, he told me he was on vacation until next Friday. He then assured me that I will have all of it by next Friday when he comes back, but I've heard these type of stories before.
I'm asking you guys, what should I do now, and, if he has another excuse when he comes back, what should my next course of action be?
Thanks, any advice is appreciated.

Find a new bookie, he's playing middle man and by the sound of it, he's bets too. So when the main bookie squares up the weeks numbers and he's down personally. He uses your credit and pays you in installments. I could be wrong, but I've been that that road numerous times

Gotta agree with Messier. Many like to delay and extend the week so that by thurs or fri, you take the new week's fig into acct and because have lost some back, usually just carry it.

He's probably a runner and has been eating some of your bets. Go online (I use 5 dimes) the lines locally and online can be way off sometimes. But one thing for sure find a new house.
