Boise had all kinds of chances to cover, none bigger than a phantom "hands to the face" penalty on a guard under someone's chin---took a Boise TD off the board, and kept America the land of sad ass results in everything it does, incl sports......two missed FGs.....someone has to choke to make America ungreat....let's add Madsen's pick in the endzone---to the great relief of Penn St bettors and their collective constricted spincters.....
So I predict the worst case scenarios for the Bowl Games today--to follow suit...all the most distatesful teams, bullies to win, the most arrogant coaches, and more money to the biggest hogs....
Here we go:
Texas -14 and UNDER
ASU wwould be a nice story, a change...., a great RB, but that doesn't ametter...only the rich get richer......so let's not have any illusion of parity. SEC all the way. We will see a blowout...Then late in the game Texas sits on the ball and ends all the scoring...takes the air out of the ball......
Oregon and UNDER
More razzle dazzle from Oregon and their flourescent greens and NIKE's pseudo-semi pro team.....Ohio St would be a great story to see Ryan Day vindicated--his choke artist FG kicker cost him a Natl title, and that's what America does, allow the SEC hogs to take all the trophies, contracts, etc....so it went to Gerogia. No good story here....Quack Quack.....A great coach will probably get sacked after the game because his QB or FG kicker let him down.
Gerogia and over
Georgia's QB is injured. Boo hoo....he made millions already in endorsements, NIL $$$ and he was not effective anyways. Step in a QB with a great name actually, and he will energize Georgia. Would be a great story for Notre Dame to win, so let's not have any of that. Everything to the pld fat cats...nopone new allowed. This will be the only game to go over because it's not supposed to.
I was writing in sarcasm and that';s hard to convey in written form. No insults meant to anyopne so don't be offended. Just j-k...Those are my true wagers. I have flipped on Ohio St. I've gone back and forth on this game. I finally came to realize that Ohio St was controlled in that game in Eugene, and I don;'t think Ohio St has the repetoire that Oregon has...we shall see. I really like Ryan Day as a person, but as we saw with the Boise St coach, a man of faith who tries to build character in his young men...NICE GUYS FINISH LAST....in America anyways, and they had dreams, but dreams are after all....just illusions.
Enjoy the games....even if all the baddies win.....it's still a great game.

I know how you feel right now better than anyone. The outcome of a game is everything. People, places and things are mere illusions by contrast. And no I'm not being sarcastic. This is dead straight reality in the world of sports betting. Having said that, I hope you reconsider Oregon and switch to the superior Buckeyes, gl on other plays.

You left out some stuff, like Kaytron Allen’s 60 yard run being wiped out by a phantom hands to the face call, Allard gifting Boise the ball by just dropping it on the field unforced when they were about to go up 21-0 to prevent it from becoming a complete blowout early and Allard overthrowing a wide open Warren a couple times for massive plays. Boise was completely outclassed in the game overall, was never a real threat to win and didn’t deserve to cover the spread. If not for Allard being his usual dysfunctional self at a few key times Penn state scores in the 50s in that game. With Allard at QB that’s probably the end of their run now, it’s unfortunate for them because he’s the only weakness on that team but he’s the QB so it’s a big weakness.
The lion and the tiger may be more powerful, but the wolf doesn't perform in the circus.

My first taste of your wit sir, and I enjoyed it immensely. We need more intellect and class within this wager forum, so looking forward to seeing more of your posts. As for your plays, I'm staying completely away from Ohio State and Oregon simply because I like OSU a lot (rematch favors team that lost angle) and that scares the sh*t out of me. What finally pushed me to the sidelines on the game is the quality of the Tennessee team OSU beat. It was nothing special really, and the Buckeyes were at home. Who knows?
As for Texas, I think that is the best play on the board. As a recovering alcoholic I have to root for Sark. I love when guys get that second chance and do well with it. Plus, similar to SMU, I don't think Arizona State deserves to be in the tournament.
I'm a Bama grad and our team has more trouble than the Titanic back in 1912, but with that said I still think the two SEC teams left are strong enough to win it all.
Good luck today!
