Georgia 30 Mich St 17...MSU below .500 against top 25 over past 3 years even with hail marys, hasn't faced a better defense 3.3 ypc 5.7 yppa.... rematch of a couple years ago, sparty excited to be one possession from rose bowl?...UGA should be ready after not showing up last year scoring two FGs against UCF
TCU 45 La Tech 20...I guess TCU is supposed to be disappointed with non BCS..from transcripts appears patterson and players know they never had great shot with 2 losses and so might as well give decent effort... horned toads defeated non AQs by double digits except SMU loss
Texas 34 Cal 23...unlike most years Cal is playing better at the end so they have some shot, still not good in bowls and could be similar to matchup with UCLA earlier and do not face many solid defenses although not as good last couple... horns played well here a couple years ago against ASU and OC Harsin should have a few tricks with time
Penn St 37 Houston 28...PSU has the pass defense 5.4 yppa and running game to win this one straight up, good to have points though just in case for most and mix in some ML smaller amount
BYU 38 Tulsa 28...although it won't be as easy as LY win over UTEP cougars tend to play better late, covering last 6 ATS and play good pass defense 6.0 yppa
SD St 30 ULL 17....could be a sleeper upset playing near home, still like SDS advantages in running game, defense and solid QB
Ohio 33 Utah St 27...ohio defense fairly good against run allowing over 200 only against temple, USU only win by more than a TD against Wyoming so doubt this one doesn't go to wire
So Miss 45 Nevada 30...balanced offense should do damage against nevada allowing 30+ to most decent offenses, good rushing defense 3.2 ypc should get into backfield and slow down pistol

double - yeah looks like we're opposite on a couple...probably comes down to whether Ohio run defense as key matchup there since USU rolls when they can run...they don't blow many out though (only Wyoming by TD...not including FCS) so would be surprised if they win by more than TD if they do cover, number down to 2.5 some places now, as far as Boise they seem less than excited about a second LV bowl...not sure if ASU is good enough to do anything about it, BOL on the bowls DU
