Nostra...much respect.....but the Oklahoma seems more of a trap to me. I know it is early, but that 20 grabs you because you automatically think 3 td's, easy cover right? they travel to FSU the very next week for a huge matchup against the Noles #1 against #6, a couple of back door scores could happen. granted, i agree with the pick, but maybe go lite on it. just sayin....they only need to win, doesnt matter by how much. they are #1 and are going to be focused on the Noles.

You are correct, sir. Did not realize the date. That is Oklahoma's 2nd game though which is what I initially noticed.. Weird that they have a bye week that soon. Nonetheless, 20 seems too attractive against a less dominant tulsa.

ULL - not lean on the UNLV-Wisky matchup...35 seems about right maybe 45-10 Badgers probably not interested in running it up more than that and sometimes start the season a little flat, agree on staying away from Baylor 1-14 SU against ranked and short number...horned toads not as sharp on offense however D should be pretty solid
h8ter - no change on LSU...not much dropoff at QB, loss of Shepherd hurts some although as hat says it gives the legit receivers more time, probably offset with ducks missing harris and some losses on defense
atl4tiger - appreciate it, fair point on tigers possibly holding back some playbook...having trouble seeing USU holding them under 40 so they'll need 20 to match with inexperienced....tigers could get lazy in garbage time as sometimes do similar as with Ark St and Ball St over past couple years....if USU has anything left in the 4th from the heat and if new QB is decent
theory - the week off before the noles on the 17th should help...expect OU to be a little more focused than USU matchup last year although could happen, TU has some offensive punch to hang around...loss of Johnson doesn't help although Stills out for OU as well...more depth for sooners though, we'll see
orange - what's going on orangeman, hadn't seen your thread yet...could have missed it with all the threads piling up, BOL this season buddy
billypg - good catch on MD at +5 earlier...suspensions not as bad as UNC LY and should be a tight one, feeling UGA due to win a big game...or if not maybe stay under 3.5...not really seeing a BSU blowout in the GA dome and like bulldogs to win SU, seems like SC should roll unless ECU has made large defensive improvements, will probably pass since ECU will be winging to the end and could be hanging around back door
