I've been on Covers couple of years now. Not a serious player and certainly not as knowledgeable as some on here. Really enjoy reading and learning from the respected folks on this forum. Every once in awhile I'll throw in my two cents for what it's worth.
I will/would NEVER refer to the respected elders of this sight as BOOKIEASS or Bookieass. And you expect a reply? You expect any respect from the rest of the folks on here who KNOW who the RESPECTED leaders of this sight are?
Nos, thank you for posting your early combo's!!

what the hell's been going on here fellas .....BOL thanks for the thoughts and info and BA and LH for carrying things
doc - how's it going bud...good thought on the Toledo suspensions...first 2 games loss of Coleman will hurt and Moore some possibly too, BOL this season
wahoo - original large money man...looking forward to your picks my friend and firing some on Sun night openers....much respect and BOL this season
bening - agree on Miami and Richt......we'll have our eye on them for some spots this year, GL man
LH - counting on UF offense operating at a 45-55 point level laying that kind of wood....they've done pretty well against weaker defenses at times and overall looking for improvement, looking forward to the insights, BOL bud
vegasjason - let's keep the non football comments out....over the years there hasn't been much and vets just want to exchange insights and info and make cash....agree as noted that going against Clemson is not our favorite spot....so it's a small play...if Auburn gets something out of QBs....running game (incl QB) could work against Clemson defense with some losses and known to give up some rushing yds against stronger teams....Auburn defense at home will do well to keep them around 30 so the offense will need some.
bookie...simply the best source of info on covers and great handicapping angles over the years....glad to say our handicapping styles are very similar...4 weeks to go..can't wait,..agree on the ridiculously early numbers.... best of luck this season buddy
hammer - BYU-AZ is a tough one for me....both offenses could result in pretty much of a shootout in 30-40's toss up, GL either way
jake - lean towards SC +3 with both teams probably in the teens or lower 20's so also interested in possible under....not much lean on SMU-UNT, GL
random thought......always surprised other than a few vets how little people go the opposite of regression to the mean....say you have a long term 57-58% capper and they start week 1 going 5-7.....many run for the exits when in reality that's the time to give more weight to winning in the following weeks when odds are they'll end up say 40-30 over time....same goes for a long term 50% capper starting 10-2 and everyone jumps on and they're 30-30 by the end of Sept and pissed off at the person...as the great Dennis Green said they are who we thought they were and it works both ways
adding small play.....
Indiana -8 (0.5)
Indiana 37 FIU 21...have to admit we haven't had the Hoosiers for money many (ok probably any) times over the years...fortunately in most ATS years...... obvious big question for IU is QB...watched some tape of Lagow this morning and looks good enough to operate within the system even though not at Sudfeld's level....quality RBs and WRs should make things easier.....tough to see them not putting up some points.....whether their defense improves is questionable but give the new DC and returning back 7 a chance and FIU did most of it's damage against even weaker defenses....keeping small given the questions at QB and how much the defense will improve
should probably do it other than checking out some totals and FCS-FBS matchups in a couple weeks, later fellas
