feeling pretty good about rebounding on the sides this week....we'll see

LSU 30 Miss St 17 - LSU remembers getting dominated last year at home even though final was not that close....mostly owns the series before that and believe they can run in this one...better QB gives MSU their shot

Texas Tech 48 UTEP 20 - TT not as likely to look past  after last year 30-26 scare.....offense looks in sync....back door possible if defense gets too lazy late

Clemson 48 App St 20 - not seeing ASU with enough defense to slow down the Tigers and enough depth at WR to overcome loss of Williams....so thinking they'll need 30+ to cover

Cincinnati 31 Temple 14 - looks like good letdown spot for Temple after biggest win in years (ever?)....like Bearcats skill players and match up well on offense and with questionable defense and have owned series lately

Nebraska 45 So Alabama 13 - Huskers normally pretty good in this spot early in season and looking to take out some frustration here against depleted USA defense

Pittsburgh 34 Akron 13 - looks like a good revenge spot for Pitt pretty motivated after last year's upset.....should be able to dominate upfront against small front 7 with running game and couple big plays with Boyd back

Connecticut 27 Army 13 - Army 1-12 lately ATS road (and 0-20 SU).....Huskies look upgraded at QB for a change and defense front 7 capable of containing option on grass and looking to avenge last year

Tulsa 40 New Mexico 37 - similar to Colorado last week not sure NM shown enough to lay points with 3 wins by TD over last couple years....nice matchup for Tulsa passing game against NM pass 'defense' so expecting high scoring game and coin flip so favor points

San Jose St 30 Air Force 28 - like the look of SJSU balanced offense and give them a shot to match scores similar to TU-NM matchup....even though yeah run defense is a concern

Wake Forest 19 Syracuse 17 - what the #@##... have not written WF much over past couple years (a good thing).....feeling QB and WR are improved though....SU appear pretty depleted on defense and not impressed with skill players on offense

I think you're spot-on with most of these. 

Big Temple believer, but this is a bad spot and a bad match-up, and a cheap home line.

UConn just beat (and outplayed) a better team (Nova) than Army, and looked pretty good doing it.

I'm on the other side of Pitt, but not very enthusiatically.  Shame about Connor, who was the only reason to suffer through games at Heinz Field.  As usual, though, Pitt just reached onto the shelf and grabbed another 200 yard/game back. 

Like LSU.  Forgot San Jose still had a team.  Good luck with your boys tonight.

whodey - what the hell's going on man....long time no see, good to see you back and BOL on a big season

maine - funny you mention that one....Pitt is actually the only one we're having second thoughts on and might reduce to small play, like the revenge angle however not really able to trust that offense to post 30+, BOL this year

Utah 24 Utah St 13 - USU seems to be running out of WRs and not sharp early..... defense normally pretty tough allowing more than 24 only 4 of last 28
