Don't think this team would ever have made this semifinal if they were in any of the power 5 conferences... So that's why I say lucky but they have won all games...

Uga and clemson would have been a great matchup,  uga definately is one of the top 4 teams.

I hear people say all day UGA had their chance. I guess having to play 5 top 25 teams. Lose on the road at 11LSU and lose to number 1 Alabama who would have been a 24 point fav at minimum against this number 3 ND. konf of like telling someone you gotta chance to make the major league roster. Just show me what you can do against Roger Clemons. We already a couple of spots deservingly won by other players because they lit up Sidney Ponson. No go out and take advantage of your chance, lol

Is there anyone on this board or anywhere else who doesn't believe a uga clemson matchup wouldn't have been a great down to the wire nail bighter. It's a shame all are deprived of this experience for what amounted to little more than a scrimmage for the tigers.  Way to go committee!

notre dame, as usual, is just embarrassing.  remember when they had the bowl list, and notre dame had a special exemption??!!  Get this

That's exactly what they should do...just ignore losses and let teams in because of moral victorys. Novel idea.
