Clemson is a good team on defense but not nearly as good on the road. Young ND continues to improve each week as does its young coaching staff. The Luck element for Clemson winning vs any team that has similar or below talent is well above expected.  Wake, Syracuse,  DJ just isn't very good and lacks that it factor. Tigers had struggles vs FSU and Wake on the road. They are pretty much the bullies of a flashy non physical conference the ACC. Notre Dame on a night game will turn the tables on the Clemson team and control the clock and trenches in a very low scoring affair.  Notre Dame 20 Clemson 16. 

I leaned Clemson but I think the Clemson train might be over. 

The covid year, Clemson faltered in this spot. Trevor Lawrence was out that game and DJ got the nod. Overtime thriller lost.

Potential Clemson revenge. 

I'm 100% on board with Notre Dame this week.  I been waiting all season for a game like this.  I think very little of DJ as a QB.  Not a smart player.  All the talent and body size you want in a QB.  Just not smart enough to be a QB in this high a level of play.  

I also believe the Vols go in and beat Georgia.  That defense for Georgia is going to face major problems this weekend.

 Gotta by scared of the huge public money on the Vols on the road. 88% of the bets and 82% of the money on a road dog. Bennett just seems to shine in these big games. Hooker for me is the best College football player and the MVP. He has been awesome.  He looks like an an NFL QB playing in college. Good Luck  Line isn't moving like it should be based on betting and money splits seems like they are begging for Vols money BUT they do look like the right side with the points. If it gets to 7 I will take Georgia lightly. 

Clemson 7th in rushing defense, They are no Syracuse vs the Run. ND ran over SU on the road.

To beat Clemson, teams have to stop their running game. ND is ranked 45 in run defense. That is not going to shut down Clemson, running the ball. Now Clemson is ranked 89th in pass D, but sadly for ND they are rank 107 in passing offense.

Dabo has tremendous experience coaching is the biggest venues, Clemson will be ready to play at night at ND. DJ is the wild card, my guess is ND will not shut CU running game down, and DJ won't have the game on his shoulders. Watch for DJ to run more, like Dabo used TL vs Bama.

Good luck yeah I hit Clem really just unclear what ND does on offense and idk any wind or other factor just seems like makes it all the more difficult for them .. my worry is ND's pretty solid run D makes DJ Fat Ass take risks he can't be taking .. but yeah talent matchup is I think in the neighborhood and entirely conceivable this game on the road is trouble for Clemson series history does say its a tough close game .. things I don't like for ND obvi not on board with greatest coach ever yet .. neither team really played anyone yet could say cuse but they were pretty well banged up by clem going into that ND game i thought lotta guys knocked out the week before, QB knocked out during the game i believe .. Clem needs a win and prob a big one, the playoff resume is now on everyone's mind in a big way so this aint an overlook spot by any stretch .. If I don't cover then good luck to you on the ML bud .. 

Yeah im totally square for Tennessee too got in a few weeks ago at 11.5 and 10.5, obvi like that alot more .. even 8.5 idk that's such a killer line I mean if UGA is not up by 17+ before a final Tenn drive or clearly covering and running out the clock then think heavy collective sweating going on across the CFB world lol .. I don't think UGA will be up 17+ before Tenn gets a last shot and the last boat I want to be in is the 'needing Kirby to do me a huge favor on offense late in a game' boat .. we'll see epic late season matchup can't wait!

I bought them to +10.  It's that right number.  I do believe they win outright but can never be too safe.  I guess you can say 88% of the money is on them but I don't believe it.  Books are not required to give out this information so I kind of think that at times they are giving out false information.  You will know though when you go to a casino, place a wager, and drink at that bar to watch the game and see how everyone is reacting.

 Rushing offenses Clemson has faced this year at home.National rankings 131 Colege teams : Louisiana Tech (Fun Belt) National Rushing ranked #111, Georgia Tech ACC #94, FURMAN FCS!  #27, Wake Forest ACC #84, NC STATE ACC #100, Boston College ACC LAST in FBS #131, Florida State ACC #19, Syracuse  ACC  #59.  Notre Dame Independent #39. Clemson defense hasn't really faced a murders row of Rushing Offenses to claim any fame to being a great, good or average rush defense on the road in a night game vs a non ACC team. ACC is mushy-googey soft kinda slow but finesse throwing rpo conference.

 Nobody knows and you might be right, but I think ND's chances of winning are slim. Clemson is rested and healthy after a bye week. They have the better head coach and quarterback. They probably have better overall talent than Notre Dame also. Clemson should be motivated. They are undefeated and have more to play for than ND does.

All great points Frank, thanks. Clemson's front 7 are all Venable's guys. he's recruited these guys going back 5 years. Their focus is always stuff the run, Venables recruits that way. Venables has had a ton of DL in the NFL, no reason to think this years DL is not as talented. Clemson has been dippin into the SEC DL talent pool for years now. Yes. they have played less quality power running teams as ND. But they have played far better passing teams then ND as well.

We will know fairly early what Clemson has, if ND is gashing them on the ground, my bet is in trouble. If Clem cant stop ND rushing the ball, DJ has to start throwing, and look out. It could get ugly as we all have seen.

ND is one dimensional, they are not going to throw the ball 30 times. They have to slow the game down, grind out long drives hoping to tire Clemson out.

Thank God!! This fraud shitbird team is now 6 feet under. Bama getting ever call in the rules book, puke worthy the way the field is slanted towards a boring, not very talented Alabama team. You have to beat the Tide and Alabama Refrees.  There is Georgia and just a bunch of other teams. TCU has to be on the move as Ohio State, Michigan and Bama all look meh..and Oregon's loss to only Georgia will make things interesting if they win out and win the PAC12 Championship. 

Why does College have the dumbest rules ever? Guy calls a fair catch at the 3 yard line on a kickoff and they get the ball at the 25? Hahah what is the point of doing a kickoff if a player can just call a fair catch and they put the ball at the 25

 I don't know the rule where a player out of bounds can slap the fumble out of the hands of a player in the field of play thus causing the out of bounds offense to retain possession confused me. Thanks Buddy, and they played very well and ran plus DJ just isn't very good,  the ACC isn't very good, Clemson isn't very good. Clemson is the new Bobby Bowden's Noles teams, they need to win one or two "big" games a year.  Yeah, it is great getting that extra power boost when ON Bama but jeez that crowd was electric and the Refs were throwing water on them all night with Saban Calls. The old Irish Coach will flip some recruits with that HUGE W in the amazing Atomosphere and he doesn't have to worry about academics or really anything in those fertile grounds down South.
