Ohio St vs Wisco

Question

There could be a QB switch going back to braxton Miller and he may be rusty but the line I have is -7.5 for Ohio St at home, they Won last year at wisco a night game by 7 in OT. I guess taht doesnt really support the -7.5 spread this week but just watching Ohio St jump out to these crazy leads granted not against the stiffest of competition is hard to ignore. I watched Wisco play a dreadful Purdue team and Stave has nothing, i mean nothing for accuracy. Abberderas and the running attack are great but i dont think they are a come from behind team and I feel Urban is going for the throat as usual. Dual QB on sat for Ohio St is the only thing i see being a issue.

As much I want the Bucks to blow away Wisky, it&#x27;ll be a 4-7pt win either way. Hopefully the LB&#x27;s are ready to play for OSU, that Wisky backfield is nasty.

I hear ya, the backfield is nasty for Wisky but Stave is such a joke, he was missing wide open receivers and their defense is still suspect. Put 9 in the box and make him beat ya, i understand that if old Melvin gets to the second level its def trouble. I am not riding any hype of OSU beating FAMU by 76. Just dont know if wisco can hold on D to keep TOP or if they can handle a shootout.

Neither team has played anybody great, Cal for OSU and Arizona St for Wisky. The rest have been jokers for both

At first glance I thought buckeyes win by 2 touchdowns.. Keep in mind I'm a fan of them. So the more I think about it the more I realize the buckeyes have no been tested defensively (especially against the run) wisky is going to try to pound it and pound it some more. And they are very efficient and very patient at running the ball.. I am staying away from the spread because night game in the shoe.. Wisky is coming there Saturday and they are coming to WIN. The nation will find out Saturday if OSU is elite or not. Urban says it will be a 1 or 2 possession game and a instant classic. Lets hope not.

Wisconsin has a good defense and a great running game but they will not be able to stay in this game if Stave can&#x27;t get the passing game going. That&#x27;s easier said than done, especially against the experienced osu secondary.

Wisconsin D is vastly overrated IMO. Dont pay attention to scores. What I see especially in that game vs AZ st. was a lot of lack of coordination in the secondary in a tough environment. Ohio State is much better on the defensive side of the ball compared to AZ st. despite what we saw at Berkeley. Line is begging for Wisky money but I dont see them containing Oh St well enough to contain their offense and stay within DD. Just my .02

You guys can check this out if I&#x27;m off on this but Wisc. hasn&#x27;t been beat by 7 pts. in 40 &#x2B; games.  I like Ohio St. a lot as a team and catch hell from my friends for it but this game seems like a good shot on the Wisc. ML.

Wis lost 34-24 to Mich St. in 2010 so in about 32 games they have not lost by more than 7.

if wis makes miller throw the ball they will win.  its how you beat pryor and its how you beat miller.  contain.  very hard to do but Wisconsin knows that and def front and lb&#x27;s know that.  secondary is weak link but played aggressive vs asu and that was a big learning experience on the road.   maybe 1-4L 5 but 4-6L10.  miller will throw/fumble 2-3 times and wis cover the 7 imo

NY Crime,   Thanks for setting me straight on that Wisc. 40 plus stat. I wasn&#x27;t sure but had heard it from someone else.  Still,  32 sorta makes a point.  Just depends what side you like.  I took the Wisc. &#x2B;7.5  and haven&#x27;t heard anything to chase me off.  I predict a close game into the 4th quarter.  It might hinge on who is ahead early. posted this in another thread.this will be my big ncaa play of the weekend.   call me crazy but i &#xD;&#xA;actually like that braxton miller is coming back here.  its a knee &#xD;&#xA;injury and he relies on his legs.  he&#x27;s played 2 games &#xD;&#xA;against Wisc so far in his career and hasn&#x27;t played that well.  Last &#xD;&#xA;year at wisc was probably the worst game he&#x27;s played.   now he comes &#xD;&#xA;back from injury and he has to face a really good badger front 7.   like&#xD;&#xA; i said before, if he struggles, then coaches are trying to figure out &#xD;&#xA;whether to bench their heisman trophy candidate and put Guiton in.   &#xD;&#xA; could i be wrong in this one?  of course, but i like the spot a&#xD;&#xA; lot.   I like Wisconsin&#x27;s defense against a rusty Miller and Wisc has &#xD;&#xA;obviously shown they can run the ball and OSU&#x27;s defense is very &#xD;&#xA;improvement at this point (they gave up 500 yds of offense to Cal).the&#xD;&#xA; dog usually barks in this series and i don&#x27;t see why this year (given &#xD;&#xA;the situation and what Wisc brings to the table) would be any different.&#xD;&#xA; also, line is holding steady at 7.   any square is going to see this, given horseshoe, at nite and jump all over OSU.   if it looks too easy it usually isn&#x27;t.

Diehard Bucky fan here so tread lightly as well....the game is going to come down to stave for wiscy and the front 7 for osu- if stave can just make the throws we ask him to ( play action to Abby and pederson) and let Gordy and white run wild- this game will be down to the wire...

Keep in mind Gary Anderson started running some funky wishbone packages last week that he hasn't shown... With white/Gordy as the dual threats... You better believe they have even more wrinkles and I think they throw the kitchen sink at osu-they will have to to stay in the game- wiscy's defense is improved but osu is going to score points

Wiscy owned that game with asu in the trenches- I was at the game- stave missed way too many open targets

Stave comes to play Bucky has a chance SU and definitely with the points- best play is going to be the over

Most certainly a shoot-out. I have a hard time seeing OSU really holding UW under 30, and I feel UW's D will struggle with their first competition vs a team that can run and pass.

I like Ohio St to win 45-7. Ohio St may not match up good with the SEC, but they still dominate the rest of the conferences.

Wiscy offense has no 3rd option after running the ball and passing to Abrederis. The defense is good, but will be a little too slow.

first of all something is very wrong with this line.........Arizona state was a 7 point fav against wisky  few weeks ago, now ohio st is a 7 point fav???? which line is way off????  I mean no one can say that Arizona state and ohio st are equal, especially at the shoe in prime time has to be worth a min of a fieldgoal.....  if u want to look up trends.. look up ohio state in prime time... they just started playing home night games last year... urban went apeshiteee on Nebraska and will do so here rest assured

Maybe a bit bias, but I just get the feel with this game being a night game in the shoe Ohio St should have no problem with Wiskey...but could i see this coming down to a final drive to win the game?..yes...Ohio st has had nothing but problems playing Whiskey..Deep down I think its going to be a shoot out...O_H_I_O
