I believe it is a myth that fast runners become faster percentage-wise on turf than slower runners. if a 4.5 guy on grass runs 4.3 on turf, then a 4.7 grass guy should run 4.5 on turf.
now if you can show me studies that prove otherwise, then by all means.
its not about times, bro...its about football speed...if a WR in a fast first system can elude one defender, he will have an advantage in getting yards. Miss St, strength is in the trenches (honestly I think DL and OL and RB are even in this matchup, but pundits give Miss St a slight advantage with all the other skill positions going to Ok St). This game is on a neutral field, on turf in a climate control 72 degrees. If this were on a grass field (maybe one littered with divots, with 95 degree temps, a run focused team would have an advantage. On a turf field in a controlled setting, the passing team will have an advantage. but, think what you want...
