Florida and Alabama have been so shaky this year. They can thank the Refs for being undefeated because neither team deserves to be at this point. Florida and Bama barely beat Tennessee at home. Oh by the way, Tennessee LOST at Rocky Top to UCLA, a team that has gotten smacked around by the rest of the Pac-10.

Now the SEC is still the best overall conference in the country, I'm not denying that. But it's not that much better than the Pac-10. You SEC lovers can continue to drink the cool aid but Oregon could hang with any SEC team.

as a Texas fan, don't want any part of Oregon---although Texas rush defense is leagues better against spread than USC.

I don't think they would beat Texas...not even in Oregon. If your basing it on what you saw tonight only (and, yes, Oregon beat the crab outta USC), then you would have to figure Texas would dominate Oregon anywhere. Because the Horns looked primed tonight. If they continue to play like they did tonight, Texas will win another championship.

Any given Saturday fellas....

Mugg, I agree....today they woulda beat anybody.....but....

Lets say next week they travel to Florida and play in the swamp.....Could they win? Yep. Would they? Maybe. Could they lay an egg and get blown out? Yep . Could they win by 20? Yep....

Thats why college football is so great...ALL the games matter...had they beat Boise they would be top 3 in BCS....

I'm just glad USC and Ohio St have ZERO chance to play in the title game

Oregon is kinda like the Okie St Cowboys. They look really good, but when they play a team that punches them in the mouth, they wilt. Just the facts.

I watched UO dismantle the Huskies last weekend.........even though the Dawgs are not all they good of a team right now, they havent been dominated all year.......except by UO. It was tough to watch. Well, UO did the same thing to USC...........& USC had no answer. When was the last time you saw that?

Every Saturday is different, no doubt. But UO seems to get better with every Satuday that passes.....

Oregon played the best game I have seen this year tonight. I reserve judgment on how they really are pending the rest of the season. I am an SEC resident and think the SEC is the best conference but if Oregon played any SEC team like they did tonight they have a good chance of winning. I don't think the top SEC teams would let them do all that running that USC with their movie-star coach (he wishes) let them do. We may get a chance to bet them against an SEC team later. Maybe in the big game. I split my football bets today but any day that USC or Notre Dame gets beat is a good day for me.

Pretty obvious that Oregon wasnt ready for the season when they faced Boise State.

I mean come on guys, get outta here with that boise state kicked their ass shit, if they play Boise State tomorrow on a neutral field, the line would be oregon -10

Ducks been playing like they did tonight for over a month now, but everyone is too busy talking about USC

UO did the same thing tonight as they did vs Washington, which, incidentally, was Washington's worst loss of the year. Means nothing to most..........except for guys like me & Kopono who watch late night out west. It's not like USC didnt know what UO was gonna do..........it's on tape.....for weeks. They just execute better than anyone else. I'll bet PC doesnt have any other answer better than mine if you read the papers in the next couple days.

Situations matter in college football, this isn't the NFL. No college football team could have beaten Oregon tonight @ Autzen. Just like not many, if any, could have beaten Boise in Week 1 on the Blue field. You get college home environments at night and anything can happen.

I can't categorically say that the Ducks are the best team, but tonight they sure were.

I just find it shocking that people dont know the ducks have been on fire lately, its as if they just showed up tonight after the week 1 boise state loss and shocked everyone. blows my mind people really dont have a clue about this team.

Florida, alabama haven't looked like a top 25 team this whole year. Both playing crap teams and have both pulled "iowa's" at least twice this season. While oregon and usc have- played tough out of conference teams like utah, ohio state, notre dame, boise state. oregon would smack boise right now if they played them, along with bama and florida. too bad one of them will get stuck in the championship game because of their schedule and beat texas.oh, and i would LOVE to see them both in the pac 10

This team could barely muster 150 yards of offense against Boise; now Boise is a good team but that embarassing; the NC game is already set; it will be the winner of the Bama Floriday game and Texas; Texas has nooone in their path to beat them and noone in the North is decent enough to keep it within twenty points its over

BCS needed to figure this out 2 years ago.......for this year

I think Clemson would beat Oregon. They are playing great now and match up very well against Oregon. I would pay to see it in either death valley or autzen

no way bro, the SEC defenses would have no idea what to do against those guys right now, Florida is the only team I would favor over Oregon right now, those are the best two teams in the country and that is who we need to see play, but it won't happen, Oregon lost to Boise and that is their own fault
