It is still the D's job to try and stop them...I don't like Carroll either, but UCLA had it coming by calling a TO.

I don't see what he did as being any different then what Stanford did, or more recently, look at UCONN yesterday.
They were up by 2 scores within 48 seconds to play and they go for a TD on 4th and 11? Why not kick a field goal? Or delay of game, then a field goal.
That sucked for Syracuse backers, like myself.

??? Is the "team" idea lost on you? UCLA football team is coaches and players. The kids chose to play for the coach if they trust him to coach them they gotta deal with it if he gets them embarrassed. It all could've been averted if, as someone else said, UCLA played some D 'til the end.

YES!! I agree with u completely on this one!! The celebration after was horrible!!! Pete is a classless cry baby that whines and whines to the refs when he is not getting the calls his way....he's been doing that all the time!!! But he loves to complain when other teams are showboating against his....he is a piece of sH%T!!

agreed! but those people clearly should be pissed at UCLA for calling the timeout... that is what screwed them...

started this thread after seeing usc score and pete carroll acting like he just won the nc title. did not have the under, only usc for the whole game.

UCLA should have been thrilled to see them passing, because had it been a incomplete pass, that would of stopped the clock and Rick wouldn't have had to waste another timeout. Serves UCLA right, if you call a TO, I'm assuming you're telling me this game isn't over and lets see what you got.
