First, I'd like to say Happy Holidays and Merry Christmas to ALL! Hope you enjoy the time with friends and family, and certainly hope a horrible cold doesn't make you feel like complete and utter crap....just sayin!
Secondly, I'd like to take a minute to do something I rarely do....complain! If someone can make sense of last nights game, it will make me feel a little better...maybe it's all the meds that's making this so confusing to me. Unless I was dreaming, San Diego St was up 16-14 with around 8 or so minutes to go and they had a 4th and 6ish from around the Navy 15. They have a pretty darn good kicker, yet they line up and go for it and throw a duck of a pass incomplete. With 8 minutes to go and the way Navy's offense is run and the way their D was playing, why in the world would you not kick the FG to make it a TD needed to beat ya? Now who knows what the outcome would have been, but because of that Navy just needed that FG...otherwise they would have been forced to go for it and the game could've been over if stopped. I dunno...just made zero sense to me and then it got me questioning some other weird plays/calls.
Anyways....rant over....on to the important stuff...

Central Mich has a solid D against some weak comp, and they haven't really been tested against a passing D quite like W. Kentucky's. And with CM being very solid against the run, it just means even more passing and I just can't see CM keeping up in this one (even with WKU's crappy D)
