Shoot, there are several posters in this forum are charging for picks in one form or another.....so what?
Heck man, it is all about cash......10 bucks for his mag, 7.99 per week for power sweep, and about 50 bucks per pick for his executive plays and Norcoast hotline access. Phil Steele found a way to make a living studying college football.........you have to respect a guy like that.
Nothing wrong with charging for picks if you are honest and don't give out both sides. All anyone can ask is that a guy is honest and bets his own plays.......I have no problem tailing a guy like that.
Unfortunately, I know of about 3 guys like that in the world.

He still continues to give out free college plays weekly on his website. I'm not sure if any of them are released through his paid service or not... but he has had some damn good underdog plays on his site for free. I gotta admit, that I always enjoy it when I see that I was on the same side... just because. He also has a 30-minute show on a number of radio stations across the country that are live, and he fields calls from local listeners. In the GHA he comes on sometime between 1530 and 1700 on Thursday... I'll need to check for the exact time.
As another poster just mentioned... he is not a shylock. He provides accurate records and lets you know when he loses as well as when he wins.
