in both games I’ll give prop bets & options for you guys to choose from, you bet these however you see fit 

Washington vs Texas

first & foremost, I love both of these teams & both coaching staffs, I have very much enjoyed watching them both grow & get better, Penix is the real Heisman, those receivers & that scheme, truly fun to watch

everyone talks about the Washington offense vs the Texas defense when discussing this game, where I see an advantage for Texas is their offense vs the Washington defense 

since brooks got injured the Horns were 2nd in the country with screen calls & yards after the catch, this is a critical part of what they want to do, the Texas running backs lead the power 5 in receiver grade & yards on screens, Texas ranks 2nd in explosive plays on screens, unfortunately for Washington, they lead the nation in missed tackles vs the screen, Texas is tossing it to Whittington, Baxter, Blue, Robinson, Worthy, Sanders, Mitchell etc, just athlete after athlete & not ideal matchups for the Huskies

another huge part of the Texas offense is RPO, the Washington defense ranks over 100 in most categories defending the RPO

so I’m seeing Washington can’t tackle effectively on screen plays, Texas is great with yards after catch & im also seeing a husky defense that struggles defending RPO, Washington has missed 159 tackles this year which is 3rd most in the power 5

Texas is going to score lots of points, Washington will also score points 

both offenses should have the advantages but I trust Texas defensive line to make a couple more stops 

I have watched all the games for these two & this should be fun if Penix stays upright & doesn’t get hurt, don’t be surprised if Texas blitzes more than usual just to hit him & make him think about it, he doesn’t like being hit in that mid section or those ribs, if Texas can hit him then I think he will turn it over, IF they can get to him it’s curtains 

If Texas sits back in their normal defense hoping that those 2 D tackles can create havoc then they are in trouble, Penix will eat them alive if they can’t pressure him & hit him, Texas must be aggressive defensively & disrupt this potent offense, that’s what I’m predicting will happen, a few times at least 

If I’m Washington offense I’m going up tempo & quick passes to negate that d line & wear them down, can’t wait to watch it all unfold 

I see both having offensive success in this one but I just feel Texas will be the better team by a little, they just have the size & so many great athletes 

I completely get all the Huskies love on the forum & across the betting world, they have an amazing coaching staff, an elite offense with a great QB, I think their defense is their issue for this one 

I think Texas jumps out to decent halftime lead & Washington makes a run in the 2nd half that gets us an amazing finish between two pimp squads 

I like first half or game over best, this one can truly go either way 

I did hit Texas ML/Bama ML , every 1 unit wins 2.3 units

Alabama vs Michigan

respect to both of these all time programs making the playoff, I think this is the most beatable Bama squad in years, they are not dominant but they have the ability to matchup well with most squads

I think the michigan scheme works great for that bad weather conference but you can’t hand it off 35 times in a row to beat real teams, I think for Harbaugh to win a natty he has to be more creative with his offense, 3 yards & a cloud of dust doesn’t win national titles in 2023, the michigan defense got carved by TCU last year & playing those current big10 offenses can’t be helpful in preparing for these playoffs, I mean look what ole miss just did to penn st, you have to score to beat these top tier squads

Michigan is 0-6 ATS last 6 bowl games & they haven’t won a playoff game, I think Harbaugh beating Ohio St is what he was hired to do & that makes for a happy fan base & alumni but if we are honest with ourselves, his teams have looked unprepared in playoffs, he could get over the hump this year but he will need help in turnovers etc

As beatable as I think Bama is I’m not sure this michigan scheme can do it, Auburn was able to run for 243 on Bama but Georgia less than 100, Bama has issues stopping that spread running attack but not a traditional attack like Georgia & Michigan run, rather than back a coach that’s never won it I’ll back the GOAT catching points & see how it shakes out

The total is way too low imo, you see big plays in the playoffs & I expect a few big plays

IF the huskies can tackle they can win but they’ve been bad at tackling this season & you can’t do that against this version of Texas, Quinn isn’t like last year, this offense now is designed to be easy on him, Texas is way more dangerous than they were last year 

Penix wakes up dangerous & his coach is ridiculous at scheming, this is an all time matchup of offensive play callers 

I’m looking forward to it

I remember Ohio St Ducks championship game  Ezekial was picking up Oregon defenders and throwing them off the field. Don't know if things have changed but generally the PAC haven't had the size and athleticism on defense as the southern conferences,  Really , if you are an extremely large defensive player from the deep south are you going to Washington or Alabama? On offense, skill players , the opposite is true
